I purchased a MacBook 13.3" Air with 256GB Solid State storage and 4GB RAM from Best Buy on their last sale which was at least a $100 less then Apple Store price. Apple products do occasionally go on sale. This laptop sports a flash storage at 256GB and adequate only because of available Cloud online storage. The absence of a mechanical hard drive appears to have quadrupled my battery time. This is my estimate but you can check the actual specs provided by Apple. This laptop is really light without the hard drive and DVD burner. Yup, you will have to use a portable external one if you do CDs or DVDs. I personally am fine with the omission as the light weight helps if you need something mobile.

The Macbook is Sleek, Light, and Cool. Light, fast, long battery life and all the software that most people would use comes with the price of the machine. only downsize is no MS office and I have to subscribe for Office 365 which is additional cost.

This is the first Mac I ever purchased and it's great! Lightweight and easy to use so happy I purchased this.

I love the Mac Air. It s fast and super light to carry around.Very classy and elegant looking and I am in love with the battery life. It is also superior to a tablet as you can work on it, download files easily. All in all, I highly recommend this product. Best buy also gives a great student discount.

I love the ease of use, speed, and its lightweight nature making it very easy to transport. I've always been a PC person, but I love the way all of my devices sync. For what I do, (organize information, browse the Internet, edit photos and some photoshop and illustrator work) this Mac is perfect.

This is the perfect laptop for my needs. Super light, excellent functionality, big enough screen and it really is a great size. Easy for travel, daily use and tough enough to withstand a good amount of abuse. MOST of my friends now use a MacAir because I've had such a good experience.

It s a great and light computer for work, easy to use and really powerfull for all kind of program. Nice and beatifull.the battery is awsome.

This laptop is awesome with high quality, light weight and super fast with SSD hard drive.

My husband is much more tech savvy than me. He suggested going to Mac when I started shopping for a new laptop. I looked at both the MacBook Air and Pro, as well as several PC options-mostly 2-in-1 units. There really wasn't any competition and my only hesitation was my unfamiliarity with Mac navigation. The salesman and my husband reassured me that I would adjust pretty quickly. They were right! Don't let that hold you back. I am very happy with my purchase. The MacBook Air 13.3 is just the right size and it even has built in tutorials on how to navigate. And the battery life?!?! Amazing! I rarely charge it, but I use it mostly for grad student research, e-mails and a few other things. Buy it! You won't be disappointed! It's a great investment.

Brought it home and used the restore function on my Ape Time Capsule. A couple of hours later I was operating all my old programs just much faster. The combination of 4Gb memory and the flash drive storage make this a fantastic machine.

User friendly, light, thin, computer that has enough storage for pictures, documents, etc.

It is a wonderful machine. Long lasting battery. I needed a new laptop, because my HP started skipping around when I was typing stuff. I chose this because it comes with fonts to make everything, whereas it would have been $270 for something like Microsoft Works. Plus it has photo and movie editing. Unfortunately, I am not used to a Mac and I have so much to learn and am not that quick a learner anymore.

The design may remain unchanged, but the internal hardware has been upgraded, giving the MacBook Air a bump up in processing capability and speed. Our unit came with a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-4260U dual-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM (up from the 4GB that comes in the standard configuration). With the new processor, the MacBook Air also has Intel HD Graphics 5000, Intel's integrated graphics solution.

As expected, another Mac in our home is just what we needed. It's super fast and light!

This is pretty light weight, optional screen size and all in all a great package. The only downside is this cannot be used for continuous development as it slows down but for other things it's just awesome.
