Great laptop for kids
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got tired of buying the super cheap (<$250) Windows machines for the kids, with 32 or 64GB. They kept trying to update themselves and constantly asking you to upgrade Windows. Then the hard drive didn't have enough space and wouldn't let you update it anyway. Decided to "splurge" on MacBook Air instead when it was on super sale, and it is worth every penny. Haven't had any issues, and it's not constantly giving the kids headaches and costing me time to figure out what is wrong. The only thing I wish is that this series had Retina display, but that's just me. And for the price point, the lack of Retina is ok. The kids' use doesn't really require Retina display anyway with the school websites they use.

I was already familiar with how this computer worked so was not interested in trying something new. The salesperson showed me the newer models and I am very happy I decided to buy this one. I've only had it for a month but everything is working Great!

low budget, high quality laptop

I am happy with this laptop. the mac air is smooth and never hangs. One thing I didn't like the harddisk size of this laptop which is 128GB though it was mentioned during the purchase. If you are looking for a low budget, good quality laptop, this is the one you can have.
