I was waiting for the new update of 2018 on this MacBook but to date, it has not happened, only on MacBook Pro touch screen. So I decided to buy it for a family member who is starting college. It's still a great computer with enough memory, battery life, good resolution, thin, lightweight, reliable for students, so no excuses for not doing homework... :P

I bought this as my second laptop, first is a Macbook Pro. Love the size and speed. Easily fits into most of my work handbags, super convenient.

Just switched over from a PC to a Mac and it's absolutely amazing. Got a great deal on this Air with the student coupons. It's fast, lightweight, and very user friendly. Screen resolution is good, not great, and the bevel around the screen is rather large. Otherwise it's perfect.

Purchased for my wife who wanted portability. Great little laptop. Although RAM specs may seem underpowered compared to PC laptops, it seems just as fast or faster due to integrated components. Only draw back is small hard drive. Easily expanded through SD Smart cards, thumb drives or external hard drive. Again, you get this for reliability and portability.

As an Apple consumer, I started out with a MacBook Pro from 2012 and decided it was time to upgrade. The MacBook Air is lightweight and easy to transport, weighing less than most textbooks for college! ;) The MacBook Air doesn't have a CD drive so if you use CD's a lot, I would recommend the Pro for you. If you don't use CD's, then you are golden with this computer. It is fast and very user friendly!

Was not a fan of macs until work forced us to switch from pcs to macbooks. It did not take long to convert, and the speed, ease of use and reliability have made me a forever mac fan. They may cost a little more initially, but well worth a few extra dollars!! My recent purchase was for home and love, love, love my MacBook Air!

Best computer I have ever had. Very user friendly. Set up is super fast and battery last forever and charges fast. Definitely an Apple fan now.

I got this MacBook Pro for travel. It’s lightweight with excellent performance and battery life. It is essentially the MacBook Air with a fan and a touchbar that replaces the function row of a keyboard. The fan improves performance. Overall a good laptop that’ll last many years.

most people think apple products are the way to go, and I know that sometimes there can be disagreement. but this here laptop I bought is definitely something I wouldn't think twice about getting, its been AMAZING. like it works very well, its sleek enough for me to carry around pretty much anywhere, the battery time is awesome, and having an apple phone makes things even better since you are able to sync up information with your computer. one problem I did encounter though - it was but a minor one - was that there seemed to be a kind of bug that would cause my chosen desktop picture to return to the default factory setting one? This was an issue at the very beginning, I think a few other people were having the same problem with their laptops when I investigated online. After a bit of searching though if there was any way to fix it I was able to solve the problem by looking at a forum online and making some adjustments to system preferences. Not sure if there can be anything done about this for future apple laptops, but just a heads up to those who are considering buying one that there is the slight possibility that there may be a similar bug. I'm not a computer expert, but its definitely something that can be solved with a little research.

Main use for this MacBook is for school (Microsoft softwares) and personal liesure. Very fast and also small enough to travel easily with.

I bought this macbook for my teen daughter, and she loves it. Its easy to set up, and fast to work with. I would defenitetly recommend it.

Love the Macbook Air. Easy and quick set up. Has great battery life and is durable. These will last 3 years. Have had several Lenovos and if you are lucky, you will get 1 year out of them before battery life and other issues fail you. The Macbook air is dependable and well built

i have been wanting to buy a macbook for college and this one did not dissapoint, its light, easy to use. I recomend this computer for those who are looking for internet use, document preparation and such, you can also edit videos, but remeber to use an external memory if you have the 128GB and the videos are big. Overall love this computer

I’ve had multiple problems with the several PC’s I’ve bought over the years and needed a change. My daughter raved about her MacBook. There’s a bit of a learning curve but all in all I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. Fast. Easy to use. Long battery life.

Light weight, easy to use, and battery lasts! Only downfall is no DVD drive which could help with movies on the go!
