Great laptop for college age I bought this for my daughter for Christmas she loves it . I like this better than the cheaper models I bought ijn the past .

I love how light and sleek it is, i use it for my college work and its great.

This MacBook is lightweight with excellent battery life and great performance. Compared to the Pro, there really isn’t much hardware difference except processor and video card that most people don’t need vs. this standard package.

I bought two of these for my kids. They are built very well and priced reasonable. A power house of performance for the price. Caught them at $250.00 off.

The system is extremely easy for anyone to learn to use. If you like apple products, I would highly recommend it. Hands down the best laptop I’ve bought.

I'm a PC/ChromeBook Person, but when I decided to purchase this for my daughter, who'd been struggling with a moderate laptop, she immediately felt comfortable. Yes, it's pricey, but it's also part of an ecosystem that includes college students, their social media and communications and their networking needs. The Air made it easy for her to connect to wifi everywhere she went; even cellular hotspots. So, she was always able to use her spare time for study or classwork. It's familiar... she's an iPhone user. It's resilient.... she doesn't always place it on a hard flat surface, mere mortal laptops overheat and die... this one doesn't. You can compare "price for performance" and maybe come out better on paper for other PC alternatives; but there is nothing better than the Apple for how it is used in the day to day life of a college student. Nothing better for schoolwork, downtime at home, or travel. It not only "just works" it works great, it's trustworthy. ... and that's why this PCDad purchased an Apple for his Daughter.

I was a PC user for many years, so when I needed a new computer ( my ASUS PC is 10 years old) I decided to give a try and get a MacBook. I was a little skeptical if I would get used to the new system, but it just took a couple of hours to fall in love with this sleek, fast and easy to use computer. I don’t think I will ever have an other PC!

This is a great personal computer. It is lightweight and easy to take with you. I love Apple products. They last a long time and have very few problems.

I bought this laptop because my last apple laptop lasted 6 years. I trust this laptop will last just as long. I use it for work and casual browsing, but if you're looking for a gaming laptop or anything that needs to do a lot of heavy lifting (i.e. Video editing), I'd suggest the MacBook pro with the better CPU, more memory, and more storage.
