It's been at least 2 weeks with my MacBook Air after returning the HP Envy x360. So far, so good. Battery life is great, I'm getting 8-10 hours each day. I love the sleekness and how compact this laptop is. I'm not doing any gaming on this, mainly streaming and Word documents and it does that just fine. I haven't dealt with any issues other than adjusting myself to Mac OS X from Windows. I was on a budget of $800 and am satisfied with my product!

My first ever purchase of an Apple product and first ever Macbook was MacBook Pro 2015 (Early 2015), in the past I had only used Windows computers with heavy specifications but I was never happy, there would always be some issue start coming up withing 6 months either with the chasis or hinges or the hardware problems like fan issues and shutting down after being heatup too much but once I switched to MacBook Pro I was so satisfied, I don't have to worry about anything, I'm a Software Engineer so all I have to do is always just turn on my computer do my work and done, it has been more than 2 years that I have had that MacBook and no issues so far. So that brings me to my this purchase, my sister was in need of a new computer (because of an old dead Windows machine) for her college needs, I saw this one on the sale and I jumped right away to buy it, so far the performance is great, it is not as great as the MacBook pro but then again this is thin and light unlike MacBook and is enough to fullfil the needs of a college student or even if you want to do coding etc. I think it can handle that ( because at work my Manager had this who used to do a lot of coding for two years and he was always very happy with it, now how he is a product manager so he got bumped to the new pro linup, but yeah this handled that kind of stuff too). So yeah I would say if you're an average user of a computer or someone who is a student then this is a great computer because it is better to invest once for 2,3 years on this machine then paying every few months to fix your windows machines (except for the metal body ones like new surface pro linup and other competitiors)

Overall I am happy with the BestBuy purchase experience. I got a Black Friday Doorbuster Deal price on the AirBook and saved $200 of the normal retail price. Glad I jumped on it, as later in the day, it was sold out. My daughter so far loves her new laptop. We bought this for her to use at college since she's not really tech saavy and she wanted a reliable laptop. Trusting Apple's reliability here so I hope that it lasts through the next 4-5 years. If I had one complaint, it's that the UPS Driver left it on the porch and didn't even knock on the door. Luckily I found it before leaving out of the house as I was on the lookout for it.

We purchased the MacBook for our son who was graduating high school and heading off to college. Up until this point, his main computer had be a chrome book. We spoke with him multiple times about what he was looking for in a laptop, and every time the conversation led back to the MacBook. I will tell you that the price on this computer is a hard pill to swallow, especially since chrome books can tend to run on the cheaper side. Prior going into BB, I did research and compare, it was at that point I knew we had to go with the MacBook. I did shop around for the best price, and was able to find a great deal on Amazon. Little did I know, when price matching, it has to be not only shipped from Amazon, it needed to be sold from them as well. After this new, I was crushed, it was a substantial difference. However, I knew what we were going in there to purchase this item, and couldn't leave empty handed. The sales man that helped us went over all the amazing features of the computer, he showed us the resolution, color and clarity of the screen, which were all amazing. He wasn't pushy at all, but made multiple suggestions based off his own experience. He highly recommended the apple care and all of it's features and price saving options! He even pointed out the cover that he had on his. While looking at covers and waiting for him to pull the computer out of the locked cage, we browsed around the store. All of the "new" high tech, just released computers didn't hold up to the MacBook. They were all lacking in at least one thing that made the MacBooks all over package. Upon returning, he informed us that he was able to find a price match the he was able to , We ended up paying even less then what we would have, had he been able to match the price I found, Our son was absolutely thrilled with the gift, and was barely able to get though the rest of the gift before taking it out of the box and starting it up! The screen, AMAZING! The speed, lighting fast! Over all use of the computer, Simple. In this case, paying more for quality and name was absolutly worth it. If your on the face with this particular device, definitely go compare with another lab top side my side, 5-6 times, I will guarantee, the MacBook will be choose!

This was the first time purchasing an Apple laptop at an affordable price (one day Best Buy sale for $699). Best decision ever, I had forgotten how much I missed Apple coming from a Dell laptop there’s almost no comparison. It just feels more durable and user friendly, not to mention the faster speeds. The only downside is perhaps the screen resolution but I have no regrets. Hoping to only use Apple computers here on out...

This light little sidekick is the only reason I am going to graduate college. The speed, the reliability, the perfect size and weight. Switching from windows was the best day of my life. I hated the constant required updating, the never ending boot up... Apple is seriously superior in every way, if you are a college student hunting for a homework companion, spring for the MacBook Air, you will be glad you did!!

I own an iPad and tried to use that for work related stuff - too hard unless you buy a separate keyboard. I had looked at the MacBook Air a couple of times when purchasing the iPad but eventually succumbed. The guys at Best Buy helped to load MS Office for Mac instore and so far after 3 weeks all is good. The machine boots up and shuts down quickly and I've had no issues with either the office suite or Outlook. This machine is still the design benchmark for laptops I think, it's sleek and well made. The 12 hour battery life is awesome - all day working without having to plug in the charger. A good buy.

Even though I bought my MacBook Air 10 days ago, I think that it's enough time to write a review. I absolutely love my MacBook, it is a great computer and it is 100% better then my acer that I had. The only thing I wish is that I would have gotten the 256gb as 128gb isn't big enough memory, but I guess I will have to use iCloud for a lot of my storage space. I love that when I am on my MacBook and my phone is upstairs and I am downstairs I am able to get my text messages and reply back and also my facetime calls. My MacBook is my everyday computer and it does what I need it to. Before I even bought this Mac I did a lot of research on what was the better MacBook to get, I wanted something affordable but yet a good sturdy laptop, I felt like the MacBook Pro wasn't for me as it only has 2 USB-C ports and the MacBook 12" only had one USB-C port and I would of needed an hyper drive with the ports I needed, also I liked the idea of the megsafe charging port, I know I have gone through countless computers as the computer would stop reading the charger or I had to fix the charger where the computer would changefully. The battery is awesome I can go all day with out plugging in my computer, it also depends on what I am doing if I am watching movies then I have to plug it in sooner but still good battery life. I am extremely happy with my purchase....

The MacBook Air is light and great for the on-the-go person. Easy to pack, fits into a backpack or pocketbook. Thin and discreet so bulging is no issue. Love it!

Great price for a Mac machine with good performance traits and the superior Mac OSX. Very light and battery life is excellent! Can take it anywhere easily.

I read many reviews on which MacBook to purchase and after using both the Air & the Pro, I determined the Air was the perfect fit for my use and was on sale for $749! The computer is really fast and does everything I need. The OS is something to get use to since I've used PC most of the time but that has not been very hard. I would truly recommend this computer for anyone that's in the market for a fast, friendly, lightweight and priced right unit!

Bought the laptop for my daughter for school. It is the perfect size and weight. It is easy to use and she loves it. Excellent laptop for the price.

I have been wanting a MacBook for a while and was debating between the air and the pro.. decided to go with the cheaper option for now. Bought it on Black Friday and am super happy with it. It was super easy to get setup with my Apple ID and pulled everything from my phone which was great! It’s my first apple computer but I am an iPhone and iPad user so I love Apple products all around. This model is by far good enough for what we need it for.. eventually will be using to download and edit photos and have high hopes it will be great for that’s too.

Every two years (or less) we are replacing our $300 or less Windows laptops. We wanted some less than the standard 15" screen for ease of travel. We talked about it, and decided "lets see if we pay more, if we'll get a better machine, maybe 3.5+ Years out of it" so we bought our first macbook. Thus far I am very pleased with it. Great battery life, boots pretty quickly, not a lot of bloatware that plagues windows laptops, and I like that the keyboard lights up! All we use the laptop for is MS Office, Web, and as we begin to travel, we plan to upload pictures. I am THRILLED with the size, and weight! Two down-sides- still getting used to MAC OS, (no big deal) and I was hoping for a slightly nicer display... this one is fine, not a big complaint by any means, just not a lot of greatness if not looking straight at it. Otherwise I am happy!

Recently bought this computer and it runs pretty smoothly, it’s light weight and skinny which I love because it’s easier to carry around.

Super convenient, light, perfect screen size, love the overall feel of it, and performance wise its more than enough for every day use.

My son loves his new computer, user friendly, lightweight and a sleek look. Lots of bang for the buck. Well worth the purchase!
