Great laptop!

Bomb keyboard

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's not the latest and greatest, but it has one of the best keyboards in the history of Macs. I bought a MB Pro and after 6 months, relegated that thing to the junk pile of history. The butterfly keys make the new MB Airs and Pros completely miserable to use. I picked up this older Air for writing, which I do a lot of. I have a more powerful machine for other stuff, but for writing, this machine is the BEST. I wish Apple would bring back a decent keyboard! Great battery life too, thanks to the ancient technology display.

A good looking and powerful laptop.

It's fast and reliable but I wish for the price I paid, Apple would allocate more hard drive space for this computer. Space is very cheap these days so I am not sure why Apple is so stingy with it. Apple needs to address this issue with their computers. Overall, I am happy with this purchase from BestBuy.

A beyond amazing computer

The standard for a highly portable laptop.

SSHD’s have made laptops faster, more battery efficient and about ten times more reliable than when they had delicate spinning hard drives. Unfortunately, the storage capacity of 128GB is a bit limiting unless you carry an external SSHD with a lightening or USB3 interface. Laptops are still limited by horrible keyboards, finicky track pads and crippling ergonomics - but the srceens and speakers are getting appreciably better. Invest in a good, protective case and this laptop is about as good as it gets for under $1k.
