writing this review from the laptop; my last laptop was the original macbook air, and this new one feels a little behind the times, materials-wise; that said, it still works great. Reliable, light, great battery life. Just not the snazziest-looking in the bunch.

My mother and I went into the local Best Buy looking this this specific computer. The gentleman that helped us was knowledgeable and great. He helped us set up the account to get the student discount. We bought the computer and were in and out of the store within 15 mins. The computer its self is beautiful and runs smoothly. This is my first MacBook and the set up process was much easier than my previous laptop that had windows. So far everything runs smooth and I am happy with our purchase.

My son was excited when he opened it up and said it would really help him with his classes.

Purchased this MacBook for my daughter as a Christmas gift for $799. Had purchase a previous one for my son in college for the same price. Awesome quality , great product. Nothing compares to an Apple laptop.

If you don't have the budget for a top-end Apple laptop, this may fill your needs. You can view videos and many other things on it. With the solid-state hard drive, it boots up quickly. It's fairly light and the battery lasts many hours on a charge.

This macbook air is very light and powerful, i use it for browsing internet and using some apps, and works great!!

Excellent Mac for the price. My wife needed a super light laptop I could be powerful enough for web and graphic work.

I bought my wife this Mac for Christmas and she loves it. Easy to use, but 128GB is not a lot of storage space. Definitely spend more money on the storage upgrade if you can. Or else you’ll be paying $5 a month for extra iCloud storage.

It’s a great Mac battery lasts a long time and it’s Berry thin compare to my old laptop.

I love my MacBook Air, I've had it for over a year already and it still works as if I just bought it yesterday. I mainly use my MacBook for doing homework, watching Netflix etc., and surfing the web. I love the speed of the laptop which is very important to me so that I can complete my work on time. Most of my technology are Apple products, and I just bought my mom an iPad for Christmas because that's how I good I trust Apple products for the ones I love.
