I bought this for my daughter for college and she decided to take it to france on exhange. She is so happy she has an Apple while on her trip. Light and compact size is great to travel with.

I bought this at a very good sale price, but even at full price the machine is a great value. I'm not going to blather on about Apple and OS X; this is already a take-it-or-leave-it proposition. Instead, I'm most impressed by the design and build quality. When operating this machine, you are enveloped in the nice feeling that you possess a strong, stable, and reliable piece of gear. I own both this Air and the new MacBook. Each have their particular strong points. One thing I appreciate about the Air over the MacBook is the broad field of brushed aluminum, which is somewhat ironic given that the thing I appreciate most about the MacBook is it's portability.

I have owned a Mac for over 12 years and would never use anything else. This MacBook Air is so easy to carry around, simple to operate and I trust that Mac products protect me from viruses.

We purchased this MacBook for our son for Christmas and he loves it! Uses it for music as well as his school work. When he goes to college next year it will be a perfect solution for him

After many years away from a Mac I love having one again! I have limited use of one arm so the light weight is a relief. The fact that it syncs with my phone and iPad is a real plus.

I am very please with this Apple computer and I would definitely buy another Apple laptop. Runs programs very quickly and efficiently.

I was pretty happy with my Chromebook but I really need memory and the Chromebook screen was getting wonky. "Get a Mac!" everyone said. "Then get in iPhone!" well the phone is fine but not sure about the Mac yet. I used one for years at my old job but it seems clumsy and static to me. Of course it could be my Fios internet and not the Mac but we'll see. Love the illuminated keyboard though.

We are pleased overall. Very lightweight. Long battery life. Extemely capable.

This is my second MacBook Air. The first one was stolen. The performance of the laptop is solid. Although, it doesn't have the best spec, it's doesn't slow down like my window computer.

So far my daughter is thrilled with her mac book. It has been very simple to sync her I phone with it. She has had Laptops with little success. The MacBook has worked flawlessly for her.

I BOUGHT THE COMPUTER BECUASE I DO SCHOOLING ONLINE AND THE FIRST ONE I HAD WAS GREAT UNTILL MY SON SPILLED WATER ON IT BUT IT WAS SO GOOD I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE. LOVE IT

Early days but so far so good! High quality Mac product. I preferred over newer models because still has USB and memory card ports. Thin and light, good sound and good graphics!!!

Very fast and easy to use. All I had before was a PC and switching over was easy. Worth the extra money. I like having the backlit keyboard.

Never had a Mac computer but have an iPad. Needing a new laptop one of my sons pushed me toward a MacBook. It took a little getting used to but I am totally thrilled with this purchase.
