    I was looking for a lighter computer as I started college. I transitioned from a Toshiba Satellite that weighed what seemed like a TON in my backpack. My mom told me to go ahead and get the MacBook, and I do not regret the purchase. It was a little bit of a learning curve transitioning from Windows, but once that is accomplished, you will love it!
