We almost went with the MacBook pro but with the MacBook airs sleek design being perfected over the years we went with the air model and love it! Lightweight durable. Great use for travel, school, and work!

I bought this computer for a gift for my son. It is a great computer. Very user friendly and has so many great features. He is a teacher and uses it in his classroom to keep students records and has found it is very useful easy to use. He also is doing online studies and is very pleased with the ease of use and functionality.

I decided to try a Macbook because it's so thin and light. I was and am still a pc user, it took be a while to get used to this new system, but once I get used to it, I feel more convenient using it i since it has more gestures than a pc. I will definitely recommend this, and will consider upgrade to a pro in next year.

I am absolutely in love with my macbook! I've wanted one for some time now and I finally broke down and bought it. It's so easy to do multiple things at once (i.e., research, type paper, check email, stream a show, etc..) I also love that everything is connected between my phone and my computer. I couldn't love it more!

Great computer for college freshman. This is the second one for our family and the first has been a gem for 4 years. Easy to use, very fast, all of the features needed and good battery life.

I love how lightweight the MacBook Air is. It is very much user friendly for someone new to using an Apple laptop. Speed is also great, even with several windows open, working from each.

The laptop is wonderfully light and the battery is pretty long lasting. I had a bit of struggle using a Mac after a PC, even though I use an iPhone daily and have used iPads often. The office suite is a little different on Mac, and saving things is quite challenging at first. But with the speed and virus protection by Apple, I could instantly find a video or quick list to show me how to do all those things! I’m am not the most computer literate person but I enjoy this laptop. I do miss a real delete button (Apple only has backspace labeled as delete just like the phones) but a small sacrifice for a great machine and tech by Apple.

Purchased this one for my wife as a Christmas gift, I have owned my Apple Air since 2011 and really enjoy the size, batter life and weight. It's the best laptop for the money with a SSD hard drive. Will eventually purchase a newer model for myself and hand down my 2011 model to my daughter.

I'm a teacher and needed a light, fast laptop that allows me to project in the classroom, post things online, and check email. This laptop has worked great and battery life is amazing.

I peviously had the larger Mac and loved its funtionality. However, it became a little cumbersome to load and unload from my backpack several times a day now that I use it for work. I absolutely love this smaller Mac version and don't feel like I've lost anything by downsizing.

This product is of the highest quality. It is nice and light which makes it easy to carry around. it is also very fast and has great storage. I highly recommend.

This is my 3rd Macbook, but my first Air. My old Pro was becoming a dinosaur so I decided to upgrade. I use a laptop for all of my work and need it to keep up with me. I love the size and the weight. Its so much lighter than my previous laptop I sometimes double check to make sure I actually put it in my bag. I also love that this version still has a USB drive. Its the reason I decided to go with this model. I use thumb drives all of the time at work and am not willing to constantly use converters etc. I'm very happy with the purchase and even happier that I got such a great price from Best Buy.
