This is the EASIEST, FASTEST, and most CONVENIENT device and platform on the market. Not only is it affordable in the Apple Inc. collection- But Just as efficient as its sister models thats have slightly more mechanisms and more in depth programs. This was the household's first Apple computer purchase, though we've had iPhones and iPads for a long time. So far, the speed and performance is excellent. The lack of a touch screen is a minor irritation, but of course we knew this prior to purchasing. For daily use, so far no complaints. Very easy on the lap.

I bought this laptop to use for music notation and general web browsing. It works great for those things. I love how light it is, the battery life is excellent, and the screen is perfect for what I need it for. If you aren't doing heavy gaming or video editing, this is the perfect machine to have.

I went back and forth between the MacBook Air and the Surface Pro. I have a Surface Pro3 but am really a Mac guy. I chose the air out because Macs just last forever. I still have my 2007 17" Mackbook Pro. The air is lightening fast, has a great battery and just works flawlessly.

I bought for my daughters birthday an Apple Book Mac Air and she is very happy with the purchase, the laptop works very well, has all the programs she need and it is very fast, also does not weigh, just what she needed to use in school and at home, is an excellent product.

despite the fact that i didnt get to buy the 128gb macbook air during black friday (due to the product being sold out), im still absolutely in love with my 256gb macbook air purchase. im a huge fan of the macbook air because its lightweight and long battery life.

This is such a lightweight computer and just enough memory. If you can I would recommend the higher memory especially if you plan to download a lot of computers. The functionality is perfect. Being able to zoom on the screen is a nice function I was not expecting.

This is my first time owning a Mac! I was tired of needing to replace my PC every few years. The applications are very simple to understand. I enjoy that it syncs up with my phone as well. I like how light it is and the ease and feel of typing. So far so good!

It's been a long time since I've had a Mac, and I've had a tiny bit of a learning curve using one again (because the whole simplicity thing is actually difficult when you aren't used to it). I love this computer. It's fast, quiet, easy to use, and so functional.

This is my first MAC and I am loving it. It’s different from the windows based laptops I have used on the past but each day it becomes more intuitive. I don’t think I will ever go back to a windows based product. The screen size is good and it’s lightweight.

As an iPhone and iPad user, I debated (for almost a year) switching to a Mac for consistency across my devices. I was hesitant that I could adjust and use the Mac with ease. Well, my hesitancy was unfounded. I love, love this Mac! Of course there is a learning curve, but with patience, it has been easy to use and I when I’m stuck I go to “support” for the answer. It is lightweight and fast. No glitches or freezes like my PC. Once I get stuff from my PC transferred, I’ll be set. If you are on the fence about switching over, go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Very clean, sleek design. It holds a charge for a good amount of time and is very easy to carry around with me. Sturdy as well - one of my coworkers accidentally spilled grape soda on her and I thought she was done for! (She’s still going strong). The lack of an hdmi port is frustrating to me, but I’ve found ways to make do.

We have had several Macbook Pros and Airs. The Air is the perfect student laptop and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to carry a computer in a backpack. It is extremely light but packs a powerful punch. The Air always reigns supreme on battery life, performance and connectivity. Recently, my daughter’s iPhone broke and she was able to iMessage me from her Air at college to let me know - it’s obvious, but I just never thought about that, I guess. Having the ability to Facetime under those circumstances was also comforting. Sign up for student deals at Best Buy and you can usually save an extra $50 or so on the most popular configurations. And, probably most importantly, BUY the Apple Care. It is a big expense but it protects your investment. For the past few years it now also includes ACCIDENTAL damage to your computer (2 incidents). My son had a computer that fell outside of Apple Care and Apple still covered replacing the motherboard! Apple supplied one of my other kids with a new power cord ($90) after Apple Care expired just because they could see she had purchased it. Either way, it’s three years of no worry. We would not buy any other laptop. You can buy cheaper, but you are going to be replacing those once or twice before your Air is ready for an upgrade.

This was a present to replace my wife’s old MacBook Pro. She loves it... says it’s super fast, very light, and syncs with her iPhone seamlessly. As a bonus, this was on Black Friday sale and Best Buy had an awesome door buster deal!

I have been a PC user for pretty much my entire life. My only Apple product has been an iPhone for the past few years. I started using an iMac about 6 months ago. I needed the portability of a laptop, so my decision to go with the MacBook seemed like the right choice. I couldn't be happier! Using iCloud Drive, (and Google Drive), along with apps on all 3 Apple products, everything syncs, everything is just where I need it, and updated across all devices. It has simplified my life tremendously. The decision to go with the MacBook Air was mainly because of the USB 3.0 connections. I didn't need the additional processing power of the MacBook Pro, and the lighter weight is very nice to carry around. I am very happy with the choice, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering one.

I love the MacBook. I switched over from a pc and I don’t think I’ll ever switch back. I love that my battery lasts me a long time and I don’t have to be stuck to a charger and it’s very light weight! Best money ever spent.

I bought this computer for my daughter. She is a freshman in High School and all the text books are on line now a days. She loves it and uses her computer a lot. Best investment I have made. I am very satisfied.
