I'm a recently retired teacher, so I had to return my work laptop computer to my school district. :( My retirement gift to myself was a MacBook Air, and there was NO doubt that I would choose an Apple computer! I decided on the 13.3" display, 8GB memory, 256GB flash storage. I was lucky to use a similar model during my professional career and I knew I could rely on another awesome MacBook. :)

So I purchased this for my daughter, who is in her Senior year in college. We had bought her a Dell laptop for her High School graduation present and she had nothing but problems since the purchase. We have taken it in at least 10 times since she has had it. She has had no issues with the Mac air. She absolutely loves it! Going to buy my younger daughter one as well for Christmas!!

I purchased my MacBook Air mid-semester after my Toshiba PC crashed (it lived a good long life, just wore out due to the over-exertion of college). I had no difficulties transitioning from PC to Mac and have loved my MacBook every second of owning it. I will probably never go back to PC. I would highly recommend a MacBook Air to anyone looking for a new laptop, especially college students.

It's a great computer I got for my granddaughter for school work.

I use it mostly for FaceTime and ITunes and it works great. Love the light up keyboard. Magnetic charge falls off when slightly touched but overall good computer.

I spilled Prosecco on my previous Mac.. Best Buy Geeks were able to retrieve all my important documents for my business and photos and put them in same place lace on this replacement Mac. Works great and everything was exactly as it had been on previous computer. This was much lighter than previous Mac book pro but still with USB port and slot for photo card... exactly what I wanted.
