Bought when it first came out at over $1000, after two years it stoped working, it’s in great condition never even been dropped but the screen stopped working. Can’t get it fixed with spending more than the current trade in value, except I can’t trade it in because the screen no longer work’s basically a huge waste of money. I got this laptop for college hoping that because it was a Apple product I could get more than a few years out of it.

It’s a okay laptop. I have had it for a few years but doesn’t do what I want it to do. Thought it would run mor applications and games but it don’t.

If you need basic web, music and some movies this is for you. My recommendation is to invest in a MacBook Pro or add more RAM, this MacBook will be dated in 2 years. My 2015 MacBook Pro is just as fast!

This laptop doesn't offer a USB port for your phone to charge. I didn't really think an expensive macbook would lack such a necessary feature

I love Apple and have used IPhones/IPads for years. I thought that I would also love the MacBook, but that wasn’t the case. I ended up returning it and got a Microsoft Surface instead.

Laptop starts overheating and sounding like a helicopter when there's more than one tab open. Having the computer on my lap makes me feel like I am air frying my internal organs

Online ordering is a waste of time with bestbuy in TX. And lone star “lost” my package or one of the employees stole it I’m unsure I’ve talked to 20 representatives after 3 weeks of not receiving my Apple Mac no one still couldn’t give me any answers this was the worst experience ever then after canceling my order in order to do another they needed too swipe my card for another 1k yea no wasn’t happening they gave me no options or anything 2 weeks before Christmas a grand wasted and they have me no solution. Smh Jesus be a fence

I got my new laptop and immediately noticed the battery was not working properly which is a malfunction on the place where I bought it. I brought it in to be checked and they didn’t give updates on what’s wrong with the laptop but they ordered parts for it, and it was supposed to be given back to me already. The manager was very rude and didn’t seem to know what was going on and couldn’t give us a straight answer on what could be done.

Number of Thunderbolt 3 Ports is 2 . There are no no USB ports Nothing fits. I wish I had known what Thunderbolt3 port meant.

Imagine paying over $1000 for a MacBook and it doesn’t come with a cable for your iPhone. ... Ridiculous upset that I even purchase this

I could have purchased this computer for the EXACT SAME PRICE through apple.com... but rather than that, I chose BestBuy because I'm an ElitePlus member and it's a pandemic, and I figured they could use the business. Only now am I told that they don't give Rewards Points any more for Apple products, as they did in the past. REALLY?? I should have bought through Apple with my Barclay AppleRewards card - I would have earned 3,000 points and gotten a $25 gift card. BestBuy has failed me. I shall not forget.

Purchased an open box Excellent, suppose to not have any scratches on the device. Had a chip on the side of the laptop, and someone’s food lunch crumbles all over the keyboard and screen. During a pandemic you think these would be cleaned? NOPE! And they sent a replacement, told me a brand new one would be sent and they sent another open box and again it had a visible scratch along the surface. Not happy. Yes I understand it’s an open box, but it stated clearly in excellent condition -no physical scratches.

Overheats and fan makes loud noise after doing very little work. Bought the new M1 chip MacBook and could not be happier.

Received MacBook Air on Sept 9th, unable to get it to turn on September 30th! Packed it up and ready to take to Best Buy for a diagnostic test to see why it won’t turn on. Taking a week to get an appointment to have it looked at to see what’s wrong, and no use of Mac since non-functioning. Very unhappy with this very expensive purchase. Apple, you can do better than this!!

I have had this laptop for less than a year. It was a great run the first 6 months operating Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. It’s been giving me countless issues for the last 4 months. Always been properly taken care of, no liquid damage, never been dropped, thrown, or slammed. Charging ports cleaned out often. Close to no files saved, everything is backed up on external hard drives. Extremely disappointed with Apple.

I like my product. However I feel like I was judged once I walked in the door. I was left hanging to make electronic decisions. The feeling you get when you feel like people think you aren’t going to buy anything anyway so they leave you in limbo. All in all I spent $1400 of hard earned money which I intended to do anyway when I walked in. Product 5 star, Service 1 star. Next time I’d probably go to Apple directly instead, they are super friendly.

To slow for a Mac, even though the price is very convenient, don’t consider this Mac if you are willing to use video/photo editing programs

I bought this 14 months ago and it needs an entire new keyboard, mouse and wifi thing. I bought it right before I was laid off so I have used it MAYBE 15 times since purchased. Apple wanted me to pay more then $450 to fix it. I cant believe they wont stand behind their product when this is so clearly a hardware issue. I will be tossing it out along with my iphone, watch and airpods.
