I purchased my first one in 2020 and I haven't had any problems now I'm back looking to purchase another one. You will be happy with your purchase if you buy this and it's almost $300 cheaper than the first one I purchased.

Lots of power in small package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I run the heck out of my Macbook Air and it never skips a beat. I run CAD and CAM software, 3D printer slicers, and I even control a CNC I built using it. That's just the more 'tedious' processor intensive tasks, but it does great for literally everything I use it for. It get's a little hot at times, but never shows a noticeable decrease in performance. I think the 'heat' issues between the Macbook and other laptops is from the metal case on the Macbook which transfers heat better than the plastic which makes it feel warmer to the touch. The OS is one of my favorite aspects, I hate how Windows changes the interface all the time so then you can't find what you need without googling how to do it, major PITA. They also never glitch up like a PC running Windows. Even a 'quality' $3,000 Dell running Windows with professional IT support is more glitchy than the bottom of the barrel Macbook. Only downside is the price. When my kids graduate from Raspberry Pi 4, I'll probably get them a used Lenovo thinkpad or something. Not going to let them touch my Macbook, it's too expensive for the kids.
