Almost Perfect

With moderate use on videos, games etc. it requires a charge in 2 hours. Also, no USB ports. Otherwise it is a great computer.

My first Mac

I am still learning to use it from always having a windows machine before. I am very happy with my decision. its also nice to be able to text, FaceTime and all from the same machine

Not good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not a good laptop bought it 2020 brand NEW…used it a few months because of COVID to do online classes with battery running low often then it was put away. Now 2024 i wanted to use it again and it is stuck on the logo would cost me around $700 to fix battery issue and other stuff with the hardware maybe it definitely needed updates but still it is like new but just not working properly

The camera is awful

Everything else is fine except for the camera and comes to find out the tech for it on this 2020 model is the same tech as the model from a decade ago. The camera is worse than the on my daughter's 2018 Amazon Fire Kids Edition. I guess before this pandemic it wouldn't have mattered but now that I have to be on Zoom calls all week it's a huge letdown.

Poor camera - avoid buying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The laptop is generally good, but the camera quality is very poor--dark and grainy unless you are in very bright light. Apple knows this and has done nothing to fix it. If you will need to use the camera at all, avoid this computer, as it both is sub-standard hardware and shows Apple just doesn't care about doing right by its customers. Get the MacBook Pro or go with a PC.
