We purchased this MacBook for my little sister and she loves it! I think she is way too young for a MacBook but she uses it for school and enjoys the functionality and design of the computer. I have had a MacBook for the last 5 years and I LOVE it!!! 100/100 recommend to any and every college student! I just wish the newer macs still carried the MagSafe charger. I enjoy my magnetic charger a lot.

It's sounds as if it's overheating easily. I AM also disapointed that itbhas no USB port. I had to buy an adapter And i don't like that. Good speed And very lightweight And pretty.

I love, love my old Apple air, so I really bought this new one without much research. I wish I had looked more into it before I purchased. I was so annoyed that there is not one USB port! You have to buy a converter for a usb plug. The FaceTime camera is awful! It’s grainy and doesn’t adjust to the type of lighting around you like my old one. I believe the camera pixels, or whatever they are, are the same as the old air I have from 7 years ago. However, I feel like it’s worse than my old one. I still gave it 3 stars bc I’d much rather have an apple than a PC, and I do feel like they’re much better in quality than PCs.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to immediately begin working from home. Therefore, had to buy a laptop, but didn’t want to sacrifice quality & performance. I absolutely love this MacBook & even though we work primarily with Microsoft Windows at work, I’ve found it pretty easy to use other programs that are identical to the windows programs, which is ridiculously expensive. And Best Buy had it delivered to my front door (contactless) in 2 days.

I just retired, and had to buy a laptop; I had previously been able to use my work laptop, a Mac, at home as well as at work. I thought I could manage the switch back to a cheaper laptop, a PC, but found it was easier to switch from a PC to a Mac than back to a PC. I returned the PC and bought the MacBook Air. There is one thing about it I object to: the lack of the usual USB ports. I had to buy an adapter just to be able to use a mouse.

I have always wanted a MacBook and I am not disappointed. It is user friendly, compact and convenient.

Overall great computer. Elected to get the I-3, knowing it would be on the slower end. It does great for daily tasks and remote access for work. I originally bought a competitors computer which was an I-7, and it was great, however the lack of connectivity with my iPhone was one of the deciding factors for me returning the other laptop. Also, the speakers on the computer I returned were terrible. The speakers on the Mac book air are fantastic.
