Grainy Pictures and Facetime Calls

This is my first time owning a MacBook. The pictures/ videos look like they are from the early 2000s. I ordered a new laptop as well. But this one seems like a used refurbished one based on the poor picture/ video quality alone. The battery life does not last very long either. I'm very disappointed in this purchase. Please make sure that you get the Apple Care for protection!

I am greatly satisfied. I did have to purchase my software (Microsoft Office) separately in order to not pay annually for it. Luckily it was on sale when I got it shortly after my laptop purchase. I got my softwares from Best Buy also.
