unfortunately I got zero Best Buy points for this purchase and that was very disappointing but it’s great. bad webcam quality

Not crazy about it. I hate the mouse pad. Had to order a mouse on Amazon. Better than my old computer though.

I am really upset with this computer. I had a MacBook Air 2011 that worked much better than this one. The camera quality is awful and grainy. The computer also makes a terrible hissing sound. I brought it to Apple and they basically said that this is how this model is and there isn’t much they can do.

I’m disappointed. Coming from the Mid 2012 Macbook Pro, I assumed the 2020 MacBook Air would be a significant upgrade. It’s a lot faster and better display but it’s not really all that amazing as I expected. I wish my 2012 Pro didn’t have broken hinges or I would of kept using it. The webcam on the 2020 Air is horrendous, so grainy & low quality. I expected a lot more from Apple.

This macbook is so fast in internet. My daughter loves this macbook. It is very useful for her assignments in school.

Good for simple tasks. Specs aren't worth the money. Per usual you're paying for the brand. Typical Apple product.

I was sold a different color and didn’t know until I got home then I saw on line 2 days later it was cheaper!

Not as fast as they (Apple) claims and battery life isn’t as long. But overall good item. Glad I bought it

For this to be a new laptop I’m very disappointed. The camera is very grainy. It’s worse than my old MacBook I purchased over 10 years ago. It also does a lot of spinning. Forget about watching a movie or network tv. It will stop playing and just spin or freeze Don’t waste your money. Can’t return due to pandemic.

Maybe I'm comparing it to my MacBook Pro that I purchased in January of 2013 or my updated HP laptop from work, but I really do not like this (MacBook Air). If I could return it, I would. This will be the last time I purchase a MacBook Air. I can't tell you the numerous times a day that it's slow to open a web site...basic sites. My wireless internet is pretty stable. In comparison to my HP laptop that I have from work, it's very disappointing. The little multi-color circle appears several times a day when surfing the internet. When I pick up the MacBook pro to take it to another location while watching a video, it freezes (the return of the multi-circle). It's SO frustrating! I install the latest updates so I don't know if it's a fix for the issue or if it's actually the i3 processor. I regret the purchase and wish I could return. If anything knows if I can return it for a full refund or for an upgrade to the MacBook Pro, let me know.

It’s brand new but I’ve had problems with the mouse freezing several times. Besides that it’s a good product

Okay , laptop works okay . Syncs well with call and messages

The screen cracked by me barely touching it. This laptop cost to much money to crack that easily. Paid $900 plus dollars and $600 plus to repair the screen. That’s ridiculous and tried to call bestbuy to repair and got the runaround. Now I’m just stuck with a computer with a cracked screen.

This is very handy for schoolwork. I also use it to stream movies which are very clear. I love it.

Bought this for my daughter two years ago for her to use during the virtual learning period during the pandemic. In August of 2022, she let me know that the MacBook would no longer power on. After trying all the suggestions online, I turned it in to our local computer electronics repair shop Sep 1st and just got a call back today. It's the logic board. It's not working at all. $900 to replace with a brand new one or $600 for a refurbished one. Since the original cost was $1038 after taxes, none of the logic board options sound good. Unfortunately, I didn't get the AppleCare insurance. I've never had insurance for a computer or laptop and they lasted years. This is my first experience with a MacBook and I don't think I will buy another.

I enjoy this laptop, I just didn’t know they have the regular headphone jack which is disappointing.

M1 chip is so much better. Same cost too, get the new one

If I could give zero stars I would. The machine would not power on at all (straight out of the box). Left it to charge all night and it still didnt get past 1%. I took it to the Apple store the next day and was told it was refurbished, and that the warranty had expired. I would have to pay almost $500 to have it serviced. (Supposedly this was a New Machine BTW). This was my daughter's graduation gift so she was excited about it. And for it to not work at all and get her hopes up, so I purchased one from the Apple Store while there. Much better, and reliable.. Becareful and be sure to READ EVERYTHING. The return was simple but I just didn't like the hassle and the disappointment on my daughters face. Not sure when/if I will purchase anything from BB again. This experience left me not trusting BB.
