I am very happy with deciding to go with the MacBook Air over the MacBook Pro. After graduating, I wanted a new computer for simple things like browsing the web, shopping, music, etc. I think what you get for the price is more than worth it. Easy to use, and great way to stay connected with my family and friends via iMessage and FaceTime especially if my phone dies on me. Camera quality isn't all what I was expecting but can't really complain since I love the product overall. Interesting how the fingerprint works to unlock laptop and purchases for apps--pretty cool! Simple and easy.
