    I purchased this last summer before college and it has held up well with all the stuff I've loaded up on it. I will say it overheats at times like most Macs do and recently has started slowing down, which is happening much sooner than with my previous MacBook from 2012 that lasted 7 years. Within the first year of purchase, I don't really expect to be seeing delays in the software as much. It's definitely disappointing but I could just need to get it checked out. I'd suggest getting AppleCare with it in case it experiences issues quickly.
