Purchased this Macbook for my daughter at Cal Berkeley. She hardly ever leaves home without it. Her first apple laptop and she learned her way around it super quick! Multitasking and organizing are always on her to do list. Class, work and entertainment all on one device definitely makes this purchase a great decision. The color and lightness are awesome too.

What can be said, simply Apple a great compute. For me it is the perfect it has an excellent screen quality, it is very fluid, the only downside is that it does not have a standard USB port since it only has type C so that you need an adapter for normal USB.It is highly recommended to buy an adapter to be able to use a USB. I recommend it 100%

Previously used the 12 inch Macbook and replaced with the new MacBook Air. It is a bit larger and heavier than the Macbook but is definitely a good upgrade. With the screen now Retina display, it is comparable to the Macbook. Also had earlier Macbooks that were non-Retina display and the display upgrade definitely makes a difference. Best Buy also has very good price - beats Costco...

I had an hp before this, but it became slow. I bought this laptop because the latest hp cost way more than the macbook. I needed something affordable since i am a college student. It's worked out great so far. The transistion wasn't so bad. Overall, good looking laptop and I made sure to buy the apple care. If your a klutz like me, BUY IT. It will come in handy.

I purchased this latest model MacBook Air w/ Touch ID as a open-box - Satisfactory deal ($810) with a note about "scratches, dents, scuffs" and missing charger. Cosmetically, the laptop is flawless and I really am not sure how they marked it as satisfactory and not excellent (read more on the different tiers of open-box conditions on the BestBuy site). I did have to purchase a charger separately which can be costly (Adapter+Cord are required and sold separate and total near $60-$90), but I used other resources to purchase genuine Apple accessories slightly cheaper. As for the warranty, I have opted out during the time of purchase but I am actively researching into Apple Care. Nothing to critique as of now! Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this on sale I’m assuming best buy’s back to school event for my wife’s very early birthday(it’s in November). Her primary use for it was for taxes but once I booted it up and set it up for her she realized that it is faster than her iPhone X if on the fastest WiFi connection in the house and she could FaceTime with family while searching on amazon and answer iMessages all at the same time. She’s super impressed and is really embracing it. The only downside she is finding out is that her iOS games and some of her Apps from her phone don’t translate on to her Mac. She also loves that the kindle will read to her and will keep reading and turn pages until she stops it or the Mac goes to sleep which is an easy settings modification. She no longer loves the windows OS for personal use now... so funny. I wish apple would have the same apps for the phone to the Mac but i’m assuming that’s on purpose? I recommend this to anyone who loves their iPhone and wants a bigger faster phone. I would also recommend apple care because she is accident prone.

I purchased this computer on Black Friday because I thought the price was great. It was more expensive than Costco but I like Best Buy policies and what they have to offer. The computer is amazing and it also has all the features of the MacBook Pro. Battery life is great and it is very easy to charge. The charger is small and compact so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Love the size and color and portability...like to stick with Apple products..

Excellent laptop - seamlessly integrates with my other Apple products, lightweight, and easy to use. Not thrilled with the lack of USB-C port, but purchased an adapter to solve for that issue. I had my last MacBook for almost 10 years, so it was well worth the price - hoping to see a similar longevity with this purchase.

I tried two 2-in-1 computers (one Lenovo, one HP) before I decided to go to a Macbook. I thought I would miss having a touch screen, but I never really used it on the other two models, and I don't miss it on the Macbook Air. The screen is bright and crisp, even outdoors. The processor is fast and quickly moves between screens and applications easily most of the time -- which was a struggle for other computers. My only complaint is that the battery is supposed to be averaging about 8 to 12 hours of life, and mine only seems to get 6 hours. Otherwise, the "Gold" color is beautiful and the computer is super light; it also performs almost exactly the way I need it to. Highly recommend.

As a college student I knew a macbook would be a pricey investment. I am so glad I made the decision to stick with my choice of getting a MacBook. I use my laptop all the time and it is now 2 years old and it still looks and works the exact same. The battery lasts a couple days, very lightweight, and thin.

I bought this for my son. Fist time owning a MacBook. I should have bought one long time ago. Easy to use and fast. He uses it at school and he said he can browse the website faster than the regular laptop.

I am currently having activation lock problems with my laptop that apple did not fix for me so I am planning on bringing it to Best Buy geek squad but other than that I love my MacBook. It is light and does so much. I used it during college and it was such a good laptop to do my work on!
