I purchased this to replace my 12 inch MacBook from 2015. So far it has been a treat absolutely love it. It’s size and ease-of-use is perfect for me. Also the battery life is great on my 12 inch MacBook but this is even better and looking forward to years of use.

This computer was purchased for my daughter as a Christmas present. The rose gold color, light weight and features were the best match for a busy mother and she was delighted to receive it. It also helps with school work and is easily portable. Great laptop!

Very lightweight and thin laptop, love the Touch ID and how all apple products are linked together with this laptop as well as receiving incoming phone calls and text messages while working on the laptop. Excellent laptop! Love the rose gold color!

I like the fingerprint touch. I like how it turns on once you open the laptop. Just hope nothing happens were it wont turn on when I open because their is no power button.
I like how thin the computer is and how fast it is.
Overall a good laptop

This was for my niece to use in college. The size is perfect for her and it works for what she needs at this time. She was very excited about the gift. Touch ID is a nice feature and the color was a HIT with her. I'm beyond satisfied with this MacBook Air.

Great laptop, Touch ID is a nice upgrade. Processes quickly and as always, very user friendly tech. Lightweight for travel, easily slips into backpack. Connects to the iCloud and data is shared and synced with all of your other apple devices.

This is my first ever MacBook and so far, I’m so impressed! It’s very easy to use and get the hang of, it loads up pages and YouTube videos super fast, and the color is AMAZING! Would highly recommend this laptop and Best Buy any day!

I resisted getting an Apple computer for years. The last two windows computers I bought were just so frustrating that I finally went back to Best Buy with a laptop that had windows 10S that absolutely would not let you download other software including zoom which is a necessity in the world today. I upgraded to this MacBook Air. Took it home and it was fully set up and connected to my one drive within 30 minutes. This was the easiest setup of a new computer ever! All Apple products whether iPad or MacBook Air are 100% times faster than the HP desktop that I bought 2 years ago. Super impressed! I forced myself to learn the how to use this compared to windows on the weekend that I worked on my taxes. You can google or YouTube anything that you are not familiar with how to do.

I had an old MacBook Air from mid-2011. It was a great laptop. I was really bummed when I had to replace it since I spilled juice all over the keyboard. This laptop is a perfect upgrade. It has everything I need for college. The battery lasts me 2 says. I use it for about 6-7 hours a day. I was sketchy about the lock-touch thing at first but I love it now, it's so convenient. The speakers are loud, which is great for when i lose my earphones. Overall, i love this laptop!

I’ve owned multiple Apple devices, and I needed to pick some good gifts up for my parents. So I decided to pick up a few MacBook Airs.. I know these are the bottom of Apple’s laptop line, but they are still better than most windows laptops.
The main difference you’re going to see from the Air to the Pro is the screen quality. These MacBooks are still powerful, fast and reliable. They are also lighter and thinner than the pro.. making them good for people on the go.
Back to the screen.. you can see a good bit of difference between the richness and sharpness that the Pro delivers. But, on that same note is it enough to make you jump up $300-400 in price?
It’s not the best MacBook that Apple makes.. but it still better than windows ;) Lol

I bought this way before the pandemic started - mainly for watching videos, browsing websites and other light photo/video editing. However, now since I'm mostly working from home, this MacBook has been my closest companion. I love the rose gold color, its thin bezel and the keyboard makes typing very fast and seamless. It's perfect for those who mainly use emails and browsers for work because I do admit that it can get pretty slow if you run some large softwares. However, it makes up its low processing power with its long lasting battery life. If you need something with a higher processing capacity, I recommend that you go for the MacBook Pro but if you're looking for something to handle simple everyday tasks, this is perfect for you.

Amazing laptop. Well balanced nothing to worry. Touch ID is nice and is integrated in apps (e.g. logging-in to your laptop, or opening a password-protected file in Numbers). Also got it at a lower price. Rose gold is a nice color.

Updated from a 2011 MacBook pro and was worried that this might lack in some areas. No problem! fast and dependable. Sure the storage is smaller, but 8GB of RAM seems plenty. Be prepared to get adapters because you'll miss usb ports.

I needed a laptop for school but couldn’t spend too much. I was recommended this by the tech, and I adore this laptop! It’s super fast, slim, and I like the Touch ID to unlock, and it helps with schoolwork.

This laptop has been great. It’s really light with a beautiful screen and runs fast. The keyboard feels good to type on and of course the Mac operating systems is very intuitive and easy to use. We have been very pleased so far.

Bought this laptop for gift to someone when it's on promotion, but was involved in open boxing. Have used previous MacBook Air before and this one is faster, lighter, and slimmer. The screen size is just right and performs great.

I don’t use that many software programs, just writing ones, so this is basically for me like a high tech typewriter as it doesn’t have much storage. Very easy to carry around, looks great, performs well.

This computer is easy to use, lots of great features, love the touch finger thing to unlock it (like on an iPhone), super lightweight, and the speakers have great quality! It is a bit pricy, but definitely worth the money.

The first thing I noticed about this latest MacBook Air iteration was the keyboard. I’ve always been a fan of the ‘Chiclet’ style keyboard, which made typing very easy. The redesigned keyboard has a flatter style, that’s almost membrane-like. I honestly didn’t think I’d like it, but boy was I wrong! I love the new keyboard! It’s has a great tactile feel and is very responsive. My fingers dance over that bad boy.
Apple has all but eliminated the ports on the new MacBook. Get ready to buy some new peripherals, or a Type-C converter, because this laptop only has two USB-C ports. Two. That’s it! No more SD card slot, no USB 3.0. You still get a headphone jack, but I’m sure you’ll need a Bluetooth headphone/speaker unit for the next iteration when Apple eliminates the speaker jack. I’ve been a laptop owner long enough to remember when MORE ports was the attraction; but we’ve evolved.
Honestly, my favorite feature on the new MacBook is the biometric Touch ID. The Touch ID allows you to log onto your computer, and access passwords with a mere touch of your finger. Super convenient! The Touch ID button is also the power button.
As a photographer, the Retina display is a huge advantage. It’s awesome to see my color photos pop on the screen, and it makes editing them so much easier. But why no touchscreen, yet Apple? Is that your ‘thing’; not following popular trends?
All in all, I love the redesigned MacBook. The keyboard threw me off initially, but I actually like it better than the prior versions. This puppy is sleek, fast and light, which is pretty much the definition of what a quality laptop should be.

I recommend getting one with more GB (than 128). Other than that, the computer is great. Would totally recommend. The color is very nice and the computer functions very efficiently.
