We have always HP family and just switched to MAC. Love it. Will never go back. Feels better made, easy to use and has a lot of useful features.

Regarding the keyboard issue, mine is still going strong and I go to great lengths to take care of it lol. Additionally, I am a student so I just use this for school work, Youtube, and Netflix. It gets loud and hot when playing games like Club Penguin or Roblox so I wouldn’t recommend this for gaming at all unless you’re fine with a scorching, loud laptop. I actually like the butterfly keyboard and the retina screen is awesome with no thick bezels. The webcam is ok but I don’t use it. tl;dr: good for simple use/for students

I feel confident using my MacBook Air - having touch id for authentication and the built in security are two main reasons I purchased this computer.
