Why did I wait so long

I had a miserable decade of Dell products and then had a decent Toshiba laptop but when Windows 7 ended I had no choice but to buy something else. The 2020 new Macbook Air was such a good price I decided to make the jump and I’m so happy I did. I already had an iPhone so it was only a small learning curve. This laptop is built so well and I love everything about it.

It was very different than what I’m used to. I find it to not be a user friendly device. I am a grad student. When searching for papers to upload for assignments, you have to search many places. What I love was the easy set up to sync with my phone and iPad. The internet speed is really fast and the finger print log in is great. Suggestion to Apple, this great computer does not have touch screen. This should be an added feature.

Quality computing experience for the rest of us

Refined and robust, the new air is about as close to a computing appliance as you can get in a traditional laptop form factor. Perfect for students and travelers alike, as long as you keep a spare adapter or 2 in your bag. Like your iPhone? You’ll probably like OS X. Big Sur borrows a bunch of nice touches from iOS, making for a more consistent experience across all your devices. Knocking a star off for the sad state of SSD sizes available in Apple gear.
