Longtime Mac user. It'd been four years since my last MacBook purchase. There is always evolution between models, but this is among the best leaps forward -- fast, intuitive, light, sleek, powerful. Love it!

I purchased this MacBook to replace my MacBook Pro that I have had since 2011. This was a great replacement, I did end up returning it because I really wanted a MacBook Pro and I found the 2018 model on sale for only $100 more so I returned this one but if I would not of found that sale I would have kept this MBA. It's very lightweight and portable, the color is really nice, I wish the MBP came in the gold color. This is a really good option for students and anyone else who only surfs the web and don't do any movie or photo editing. I have been using MacBooks for years and honestly I will never go back to a windows computer for personal use. Once you switch to a Mac you can never go back.

This is my 2nd Apple MAC Air. I previously own the 2011 model and recently upgraded to this new MAC Air. I'm very satisfied with the performance. It has a very sleek design as the screen extends almost to the edge of the screen. The stereo speakers are great. The keyboards have changed and if your'e used to the butterfly keyboard (older version), then you may need time to get used to this new keyboard style. With the new redesign, the weight of the Mac Air is lighter and thinner look than the previous models. I converted from Windows to Apple MAC from 2011 and I don't think I will ever switch back to Windows.

This laptop is perfect for the college student always on the go. It fits perfectly in a backpack and has all the power, speed and storage for a full student schedule.

I love the gold finish and the touch ID works great. Lighter weight and a better display than my last Mac laptop. It's the perfect size and specs for what I need.

My daughter loves her MacBook! It is easy to navigate, a great size, and has the speed and space she needs for school.

I'm happy with this purchase so far. After much research and consulting with the sales people at Best Buy, I made the buy. I currently have two MacBook Pro's. I'm in visual merchandising and also have a food blog. I wanted something that was easy to travel with but also flexible enough to upload material and do some easy work. This seems to fit the bill. Super lightweight, easy to use and seems to have enough power to use for easy edits, checking email, browsing etc. I don't think this is made for hours of editing etc. and the sales clerk confirmed such. This is for light use and MacBook Pro for heavy duty use. This will be my travel laptop and I will do heavy workloads at home on the Pro. Also happy that I snagged this on sale. Was much more hesitant at full price. Overall, it seems fine for what I need it for.

This computer is so much faster than my MacBook Pro! It is lightl in weight, small,and easy to use.

So it's about time the macbook air got an update! It now has the retina display and smaller bezels. It's still very light and not sacrificing any horsepower from the similarly spec'd Macbook Pro's. Perfect for your every day use and on the go because it has more than enough power to run several programs at once without slowing down. Also the aluminum case is going to withstand more punishment than plastic cases PC'S.

I am done with Dell computer and Microsoft. I haven been buying Dell computers for that 20 years, but this compact Apple laptop is better than any Dell laptop I owned. Great size, super light and fantastic performance. Yes, it’s pricy next to other laptops but nothing Apple makes is cheap. It performers , it’s fast and simple without getting error messages left and right like when you are using window 10.

Fast, great feel of keys and touchpad, easy set up! And great price with flash drive! Love it!

I use both mac and windows and I feel if you want a laptop for the day to day life use and you want security the mac book air is for you sleek and fast good battery life the pro is nice also if you need all the bells and whistles i am a coder and it meets my needs and more hope everyone finds the same view but long lasting is well worth it also apple care is a must you want to protect your investmetent.

I was on the fence about purchasing an Apple product due to the higher price over windows based laptops. I went for it and am so happy with my decision to buy the MacBook Air. Very snappy, nice laptop. Plenty of power for everything I’ve tried so far. Could only connect to one external monitor with native drivers, which was disappointing. Found a driver for a windows dock I had sitting around, so that let me get back to two additional monitors, which was nice. Good battery life. Of course, need some kind of dock for a lot of things, so that adds some cost.

Has enough power for what I use it for and great screen resolution. Lightweight and small enough to carry with me just about anywhere. Fast and reliable and solid product. Only down side is the iOS, to me it can be hard to do certain things unless you KNOW where to go so it's not intuitive. But maybe more time in iOS will help figure it all out.

I love the color, the design, the touch ID, screen, keyboard, etc! The ports a little annoying so you would have to buy a c port connector if you want to plug in usb stuff.

This is the first Apple laptop I have owned. I have used iPads and iMacs for several years. My latest iMac was getting old and I wanted something more mobile but with MacOS. When Best Buy has this model on sale a coupe weeks ago I went for it. I couldn’t be happier! It is so easy to use, quick, and light weight.
