Excellent for college student. Massive memory easy to set up and run. Slim sleek and light. Expensive. But long life hopefully.

I had an older Mac book pro from like 2011 that just wasn’t having anything to do with updates or being compatible with new apps/programs. I upgraded to the MacBook Air and wow why did I wait so long. I got the gold and it’s a fun color. The Mac Book Air is lighter...easy to use and obtain new versions of apps. It was worth the $$$.

Absolutely love my MacBook Air. I purchased this one because my pro died on me. I debated getting the new pro but figured since I only use it for grad school having the extra features wouldn’t be necessary. I love how light this laptop is compared to my old pro. The image quality and speed is unbeatable! Very happy with my purchase

I really like my MacBook. It is fast, and easy to use. This is my first Mac and it has been easy to transition from my PC. Love that it pairs with my IPhone. I doubt I will ever go back to a regular laptop. Glad I decided to make the switch. The construction is sound and feels of good quality.

3 Macbook I've had and by far the best as far as speed and power and capability are concerned. It's smaller, so great for on the go and works for everything I need it for. Does cost a bit more than lots of others, but you can tell you're paying for quality. No issues to speak of since ownership.

The new Air is precisely the upgrade many users have been holding out for, with a slimmed-down body, sharper Retina display, long battery life and a useful Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Though it’s more than fast enough for common use cases, some might prefer to spend $100 on the entry-level MacBook Pro to get more processing power.

Fast. Compact. Nicely designed. Still learning how to use some features. Big improvement from from my older IPAD! Purchased mini dock that enables me to read micro SD card.

I bought my MacBook Air 2018 this week and I am very happy with it. It is definitely different from a Windows based PC. As for the battery and its longevity, my battery lasts a couple of days after a full charge. I use mine daily, sometimes 3 hours straight for school, and it's great. My Windows PC battery lasted a long time too, but it depends how often you use your computer. So results may vary. My favorite thing I love about my MacBook Air is that I can answer calls, FaceTime and text just like I do on my iPhone. It syncs, so there are no duplicates. If I take a picture with my iPhone, I can AirDrop it directly to my Mac. I don't have to email the photo and download it, like I had to do with my Windows PC. My Apple Watch can unlock my Mac, so I don't have to type in my password all the time. For those who are a little intimidated with computers, especially if you're switching from one platform to another, I recommend attending the Apple store "How-To's" to learn more about your Mac. Since I have owned and used both a Windows based PC and now a Mac, I'm definitely loving the Mac

I love love love my new Mac Air book. It is so slim and very light to carry around. The keyboard is amazing. My high school teenager is trying to replace her old Mac with mine. I don’t think so. I’m really enjoying my new Mac. Love Apple products. I would highly recommend this product to all my family members and friends.

Apple hardly ever lets you down. Ease of set up for the University to join to the network and my student is off and learning. Stylish and lightweight. Love it! Definitely recommend the AppleCare to protect this gem while away at school.

This computer has all the great Mac features I am used to, but is faster, Has greater battery life and allowed me to take it along when away from home for a few days. It has served our current needs well and given us a preview of newer computers. I would not even consider buying any computer other than a Mac.

Pros: 2 lightning 3 usb c ports, impressive i5 processor, slim design. Cons: Pathetic storage capacity at 256 GB (upgraded model). Seriously, only 256 GB?; screen not as crisp as 12” Macbook and colors appear warmer, edges more blurry, etc.
