To say - I am excited would be an understatement!! Longtime TEAM Apple but breaking away from the PC wasn't easy lol I tried once in 2020 - gave up after about 6 weeks. This time though I am sticking to it~~I did end up returning this one and getting the 15" - the 13" was pretty much the same as my iPad - I knew I needed something bigger lol but let me say again I LOVE IT the ability to share between all my devices with such ease is truly a huge game save!!!

Even in 2025, this is still a very competitive laptop and well worth a purchase. I was able to pick mine up in 2023, open-box for around $850 without tax. Like every Apple Silicon chip, the M2 is incredibly efficient and only gets warm with heavy use, even without a fan inside. Normal applications run perfectly and it can handle most light games you throw at it. Minecraft runs with shaders and mods at a smooth and stable 60fps, and many other games are the same. Definitely not a gaming machine, but is great for light gaming and/or emulation. Overall a great laptop with the amazing build quality that Macbooks are known for, a quick and efficient chipset, and a battery that’ll last you the whole day. In 2025, 8gb of RAM is a little low, and looking back I should’ve gotten the 16gb model. However, even with 8gb of RAM the M2 chip’s efficiency and optimization make it feel like you have 16gb of RAM in most normal apps. Definitely opt for more RAM if possible, though.

Fast, useful and incredible, this machine is everything I need for my photo editing work, it has worked excellent, I would marry it but I think it is not legally possible

The MacBook Air M2 is a great laptop, with a fast chip and slim profile. Battery life is good.

After using this computer for over a month now, I find it to be quite impressive. It excels at basic functions such as checking emails or writing essays, making it an excellent choice for students. Additionally, its lightweight design and consistently silent operation are noteworthy features. If you heavily rely on Adobe Suite or tend to have multiple software applications running simultaneously, I would strongly consider upgrading to 16GB of RAM. However, if budget is a concern, I wouldn't recommend opting for the base price upgrade. In such cases, investing in a refurbished MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB of RAM might be a more cost-effective option. Not only is it more affordable, but it also delivers exceptional performance, offers greater storage capacity, and proves to be a worthwhile choice for those using resource-intensive software.

Great laptop - lightweight and fast. Able to connect to my 39” ultrawide monitor without any issue. Very large trackpad for a notebook of this size.

The MacBook Air m2 is very fast and has a very long battery time. I have a MacBook Pro 16" but I buy a MacBook Air and rarely use it. The M2 chip is a revolution!
