Comong from a 2018 macbook pro to a macbook air. Havent noticed any diference. Loce my macbook because theyre dependable and never jad any issues. The only thing im not loving is that they no longer use usbc for the charger. Theyre back to the magnetic charger. The new design is great when opening and closing. Definately better desing than before. Since the edges are thicker.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I made purchase it stated it was brand new and I’m assuming I received a refurbished item because once I open and took out the book it never turned on, i plugged it in never turned on and I’m aware of how apple products work. Idk why everytime I go to Best Buy and it’s supposed to be brand new, my item doesn’t work or slows down in a weeks after purchase especially with some of their Windows laptops I’ve received in the past. I’ve been a long customer since I was in high school, and understand how the business works but it does frustrates me when there is a lack of quality in products when it’s supposed to be brand new.

My college campus is full of hills and it's in Texas so having a lighter laptop has literally saved my life. The MacBook Pro was SO heavy and this literally feels like a notebook in your backpack. I also love the keyboard and how big the trackpad is. Cons: I wish there was a button on the keyboard to turn the keyboard lights on and I also had to buy an attachment for SD cards and USB
