Very durable keys may get sticky after a while but may just need a good cleaning

It’s really good for light weight tasks. Can do some light ML, video editing but it can get hot.

Between the obvious performance bump and a very slightly crisper image over the previous generation, the only thing that still hasn't improved is the overheating--gets very hot around 2 hours of continuous use, and I'm just using the internet and occasionally Photoshop when I need to work away from the home office. Granted, it has been a recurring problem with every Air so it's more or less expected and it doesn't hurt performance on any of the low-bar tasks I'm doing on this computer, but I can't imagine that heat is good in the long-term for the other internals.

Purchased this product for my spouse on Christmas so she could continue to excel in college. She’s had no issues and reminds me constantly that she loves it. Took some getting use to given that it was her first Apple laptop but within a day or two, she had the hang of it and hasn’t looked back since.

I needed a new laptop and caught this one on sale. Great update from my 2013 one I had. Such a big difference! Love it.

This MacBook is to replace another, which was unable to be fixed. This is definitely an upgrade, with a better charging system, a much improved keyboard, more speed and more memory. It is quite an improvement, and we expect it to outlast the previous model.

Great quality in resolution, fast, and great for portability. I am very please to upgrade from my Microsoft pro to this!

This is my first venture into the world of MacBooks. I have used Windows laptops for the last 20 years and I had never considered the MacBooks because of the price. Well, after the case on my last three Windows-based laptops (Dell, Acer, and HP) cracked and broke, I decided to try a Mac. I'm so happy I did. When I pick up my MacBook, there is no flex at all. AND, the integration between my iPhone and MacBook is such a convenience. I can use my MacBook to send and receive texts. Now I can compose a text message using all ten fingers to type as opposed to my on-finger pecking on the phone. When I take a photograph with my phone, it automatically appears on my MacBook. A wonderful feature. Another wonderful feature is the fingerprint reader. I love it. There was and is a learning curve but nothing insurmountable. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I got this laptop for my fiancé because she had a 10 year old MacBook and she loves loves this new one so much I’m thinking about getting another one.

Laptop is bulit very well feels solid. Screen size could be a con. I bought this a second laptop my other laptop is 16in so I feel having the smaller size makes a more portable version of my other laptop. I was suprised that this laptop can do some gaming as well.
