    My old apple screen failed - apple wouldn’t repair so decided to get the newer model (cost for repair was 50% of this laptop) - so now wife is happy to have a working laptop again - nice new design

    Absurdly fast, but would definitely recommend upgrading the SSD, 256GB is fine on a phone but a bit limiting with a laptop unless all you use is a browser.

    I've had many MacBooks. Both the silver and space gray. This midnight looks great....until you use it for 5 minutes. It is the worst oil and fingerprint magnet you can imagine. It looks terrible and is very very hard to clean. This finish was a mistake by apple. I doubt you'll see it around for long. Get the space gray or silver. Trust me.

    This Mac works better than my 2015 I had but there is one problem, if I step away for a little while and come back, it completes freezes and I have to hold the power button to turn it off.
