I have not had this laptop for long, but so far I am enjoying it! I have a Lenovo gaming laptop strictly for gaming, and an iPad Pro that I was using for school. In reality, I did not need this laptop but it caught it while it was on sale. I've always loved Apple and had Macs in the past, so I figured why not? I can use it for school, browse the internet and watch YouTube videos. It is small, lightweight, and quite frankly the perfect size laptop. The sound is AMAZING! Sounds so surround and I do not need to put it up to full volume like I do my Lenovo. The sound is very rich. I appreciate that because I do consider myself an audiophile. I hope that this laptop lasts for years to come, but I don't have any doubts about that.

The battery life is super long. The responsiveness of the M2 is well enough for multitasking. Compared to my M1 iPad Air, i do not feel any increase in speed. The 4 speakers give ample sound. I would just wish the display would have more than 500lids and support HDR like my iPhone 13 Pro Max. In the end, the price of the M2 MacBook Air is a tad cheaper than an iPhone. I would hope they can put at least a OLED

I bought this for school and I’ve used it through my career after graduating. It’s fast and I have had no issues at all with it. I love the color and how light it is!

I bought this product as a gift for my best friend. It was his birthday and he also got accepted into medical school, so I decided to buy him a new computer for when he starts class. It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to carry in his book bag.

I'm super happy with this equipment, I bought it for studying and it has been the best investment.

Got this laptop for school and it is probably one of the best decisions I've made. It cruises through basic tasks with absolutely no problem. Not only that but I can take this on the go and work on my photos and other power intensive projects without having to worry about plugging in. And on top of all that, it weighs absolutely nothing. The downside, however, is that anything more than creative work is limited severely by its operating system and its memory. For a college student, I can confidently recommend this laptop.

I switched to Mac 11 years ago, and for that entire period, I had the same laptop, a Macbook Pro, late-2011 model. After the initial adjustment, it has been a great laptop for all of these years. I used it for school, work, online browsing, a few applications, and streaming videos. I have never gamed on my 2011 laptop. Of course, it slowed down considerably after several years, and software and hardware updates can only help so much with an older model. So, I finally decided to purchase a new laptop, and based on my research on recent macbook models, the price and value was right on this 2020 Macbook Air. GENERAL FEATURES: Switching from a Pro to an Air model is weird at first because the Air is SO thin and lightweight. It has an extremely slim profile. I have to be extra careful when I grab the laptop to move to another room. Like other reviewers have said, the screen extends almost to the edge with minimal bezel, which also means very minimal border, so you are getting a "larger" screen. I did not mind the thick bezel black border on my pro and have been used to it for so long, but I took for granted that it actually provided a lot of protection for my screen. The macbook air has almost no bezel, which in my opinion, is not ideal.

I was able to purchase this during one of the amazing Best Buy sales and it doesn't disappoint. At the time I'm writing this, the M2 is the fastest processor out there for MacBook Airs. Yeah, the disk space and memory is lower than what I like, but it does everything I need it to do. The audio is awesome. The speed is awesome. The color is awesome. Highly recommend.

Great laptop. Felt really sleek/solid and performed well with ordinary use. Ended up returning it because the files I use were a little too large. Ended up upgrading to an M1 Pro with 16GB of memory.

So sleek and easy to use . Light weight . Easy to tranfer documents from last computer to this one no issue

I haven’t purchased a new MacBook since 2015 and back then they were much heavier and much less powerful. Getting this new MacBook Air was an incredible upgrade! I love the midnight color, it handles all my tasks with ease, and the thumbprint login is seamless. I honestly feel like that makes me more productive, because I can hop right into what I’m doing quickly. Plus all the new swipe features and giant track pad!
