Smooth Laptop

Great. But 8gb is defintely not enough

However, the one aspect I hope Apple addresses is the lack of internet sharing capabilities, similar to the mobile hotspot feature on Microsoft laptops. This functionality is currently missing in macOS. As a heavy user of Adobe Photoshop, I've encountered issues with the compatibility of the older version with the M2, impacting my day-to-day workflow. I'm patiently waiting for updates to resolve these issues, but if they don't arrive soon, I might need to consider letting go of this machine as it's affecting my work.

Fingerprint magnet

First Mac in the household but if it holds up, probably not the last one. I wish it supported two external monitors. The keyboard is not bad either.

She's familiar with Apple products and shared a family MacBook Pro but needed her own for school. The MacBook Air is plenty for what she will be using it for.
