He didn't think he would need anything other than the basic model. I asked my brother who worked for Microsoft for years and is now a Mac fan. He agreed the basic model will far exceed any anything that would be needed in a four year school

Upgrade to new MacBook Air

It's taking some getting used to. I miss my wireless mouse! But the new Mac is faster, etc. and I like it. Geek Squad did great job transferring stuff and setting everything up. Couldn't have done it without them.
