This macbook is perfect for any college student, it has awesome speakers and its pretty light.

Coming from a very old MacBook Pro to the MacBookAir is like night and day. Had some issues transferring my data but a quick phone call to Mac support and the help of an (as usual knowledgeable and personable) employee helped me solve the issue in 15 minutes.

Amazing laptop!! Bought from the warehouse and I haven’t had any complaints I use it everyday for school and work! I only charge it once a week battery is amazing!

It is light enough and it works good so far for a year

An excellent tool for productivity while still being highly portable. I’m yet to experience any slow down after using it for everything from video editing to music production.

Love this macbook air. The size is perfect for being on the go. I had an IPAD PRO but wanted to still have a laptop, I had the magic keyboard but still didnt satifsy my need for laptop. Overall great product, now i want to up grade to the 15 inch

Between the obvious performance bump and a very slightly crisper image over the previous generation, the only thing that still hasn't improved is the overheating--gets very hot around 2 hours of continuous use, and I'm just using the internet and occasionally Photoshop when I need to work away from the home office. Granted, it has been a recurring problem with every Air so it's more or less expected and it doesn't hurt performance on any of the low-bar tasks I'm doing on this computer, but I can't imagine that heat is good in the long-term for the other internals.

Purchased this product for my spouse on Christmas so she could continue to excel in college. She’s had no issues and reminds me constantly that she loves it. Took some getting use to given that it was her first Apple laptop but within a day or two, she had the hang of it and hasn’t looked back since.
