Perfect MacBook for work, travel, and everything in between. Super lightweight and portable. Battery life is substantial enough to go a couple days without charge. The m2 chip is fast and efficient. I only need this MacBook for basic software (excel, word, publisher), email and internet. I do wish I held off for the m4 chip that came out only months later, nonetheless, I do not regret this purchase. Highly suggest buying the full apple care coverage for screen cracks and accidental damage. In all- super happy with my MacBook Air.

The MacBook Air 13.6" with the M2 chip delivers impressive speed and efficiency. It's lightweight, has excellent battery life, and the Midnight color is sleek. The Retina display is vibrant, and it handles multitasking with ease. However, the base 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD feel limiting for heavier tasks, and it picks up fingerprints easily. Overall, a solid laptop with minor drawbacks.

The best laptop for the money with it's excellent keyboard and touchpad, fast performance, great battery life and attractive design. Newer models come with an HD display but display on this model is still more than acceptable. Easy to set up and transferring music, photos, etc.

I would get a great review. The Macbook Air M2 laptop is a total game-changer! It's super sleek and lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The performance is top-notch, with a powerful processor and ample storage space. The display is stunning, with vibrant colors and sharp resolution. Plus, it has a long battery life, So I like this laptop a lot.

I got the base model M2 MBA as I move on from my 2015 i7 MacBook Air and had a bit of storage anxiety, but with ever improving iCloud drive integration I still have plenty of space after installing Office, Xojo, Rapidweaver and several other apps along with docs and photos. Changes in how other cloud services work in macOS 12.3+, including OneDrive, also improved how apps are stored. I have 2TB iCloud and 2x 1TB OneDrives and still over 100GB free on my 256GB base MBA. Anything I need just gets pulled down and anything you don't need is easily purged and left in the cloud. 10 years ago this would have been a bigger issues but with 5G phones and big tethering plans usually included (like the 40GB/mo tethering I get from T-Mobile), making use of Cloud on the go is seamless. But you do have the option to get 512+ storage if you are willing to pay the excessive money Apple is asking, but really, casual users just don't need it anymore. New MBA has a very good keyboard, much better than the old butterfly and a perfect trackpad as always. The screen, while just the regular 'liquid retina' is very bright with excellent contrast that is nearly as good as my Dell XPS 15's OLED screen. It is quite shocking really. M2 is very good on battery (on day 2 without charging) and very speedy, easily as fast as my previous i7 MacBook Air. Scaling options in macOS 12 and 13 beta make for plenty of screen space despite the 13.6" size. While the 256GB model, using a single NAND is slower than the 512GB dual NAND SSD, you don't really noticed it unless you have to move a lot of files and you aren't going to be doing that on a 256GB drive anyway, so don't let that negativity of 1400MBps vs 3000MBps storage be a distraction. Again, for casual users, you just don't hammer the SSD enough to notice any difference. With only 8GB of RAM I don't know what the longevity will be going forward as macOS gets bigger and bloated garbage electron apps continue their march overrunning native ones, but for now 8GB is plenty for casual use and basic dev work. This 8GB/256GB is perfect for casual users and students. If you are heavy in CS or video editing, then obviously this isn't the machine for you, but for the 90% that is everyone else, the new base model MBA is great.

I got my MacBook from Best Buy recently, and honestly, I’m super impressed. It’s so fast and smooth—no lag at all, even when I’ve got a bunch of tabs and apps open. This is my first Macbook, and I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. It's definitely the lightest and thinnest laptop I've owned, without compromising performance. I've heard about the premium feel of the keyboard and it's up to the expectations. The battery is incredibly durable, it can last up to 3 full days of work, classes and videocalls. The M2 chip is fast and powerful, and the 8GB of RAM is good enough for my use, even when having many Chrome tabs opened at the same time. I keep most of my files in an external drive and only reading documents on my MBA, so the 256GB of storage is no issue. I had used Windows for all my life, so it took me a while to get used to MacOS, and now I can appreciate its smoothness and versatility, especially the multi-touch gestures. The screen ratio is perfect for reading and work, resolution is superb and the webcam notch is a great alternative to keep my desktop organized. Integrated Face ID would have been ideal, but the Touch ID is reliable, it works 10 out of 10. I'm enjoying the quietness of not having a fan or a vent in my computer, so I don't have to worry about dust getting inside. The speakers sound great, not as bass as the MBP's, but the placement of the speakers gives the MBA a cleaner look. I bought it with discount so that's even better!

Perfect size, more power than I will ever need, long lasting battery, runs cool and has a beautiful screen and I love the magsafe charging cable it comes with. Its an Apple product with excellent build quality which you will appreciate every time you pick it up. Whats not to love. Apple has seemingly stubbornly refused to jump on the touch screen, convertable laptop bandwagon. Maybe they will offer these features one day but I am not going to hold my breath. Actually I have owned touch screen Windows laptops with pen and all and to tell the truth it was not something I ended up using that much at all. I figure if you need or want a touch screen, pen and all that then buy a tablet. This is a laptop with a quality lighted keyboard and it does what it was designed to do reliably and wonderfully. Yes the color of this model is a fingerprint magnet for sure. I think we all have a touch of O.C.D. When it comes to this subject. You just have to overcome that a little. Wipe it down good maybe once a week or so and quit worrying about it. You will see it cleans right up good as new and you will feel good about it... again... Five stars all the way.

I got this laptop for school and now it's my best friend. I think it's a perfect size, and the color is so beautiful. I am obsessed with the fingerprint feature, it's so cool and convenient. Let me start by saying that I bought this laptop without planning to because my seven year-old MacBook had unexpectedly died on me and as a graduate student, I freaked out and ran to Best Buy. Best Buy closed at 9 PM that night and I got there at 8:50 PM and decided quickly on this laptop specifically because it’s the perfect size, it’s lightweight, it’s everything that I need as a student who uses a laptop for about 8 to 10 hours a day. With that being said the battery life is incredible. If you travel with it, it’s so compact that you can stick it anywhere. In terms of how it works, I have no complaints and it’s honestly a beautiful Laptop and so easy to work with.

Had an old air from 2015. That was a good computer but it was getting old and it wasn't getting the most recent updates. Picked this up, it's lighter, faster, better display, etc. Very nice upgrade. Battery life is good, better than my old one.
