Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using a 5+ year old macbook pro but don't really need the power of a pro any longer, so I opted for the air for a new machine. So far, not disappointed. Not a gamer or anything like that so can't comment on how it is for that sort of application, but no complaints on the video and function so far. I do wish it had a slider for the camera (to manually block it--my work computer has this feature and I love it). The midnight color is pretty cool but it really shows smudges/fingerprints.

I should have switched to a Mac long ago instead of purchasing buggy PC after buggy PC that would go obsolescent after a short time. The MacAir I purchased is very fast even when performing multiple tasks. Finally, it is not as virus-prone as a PC, since it has anti-virus software built in already.
