It’s perfect, has everything that I expected from the product when I bought it

I purchased a refurbished Macbook Air for my son's Christmas gift and now 7 months later the unit won't charge. When the order was initially placed, I was told that the computer had a one year warranty and that my Total Tech membership would cover any issues that we may have. Yesterday, my son and I had an appointment with the GeekSquad here in my hometown of Douglasville, GA to have the Macbook checked out. When we arrived, I told the agent what was going on with it and she immediately plugged it in and gave me paperwork to sign. There was no diagnoses done and I was told that the battery needed to be replaced and that it only came with a 90 day warranty. Then the GeekSquad supervisor came from the back and told me that they couldn't do anything with the unit and that I would need to take it to an Apple store. Earlier today my son and I drove 30 miles to the nearest Apple store and the technician immediately ran a diagnoses on the computer and it passed all tests! The tech then took a look at the charger and it was a third-party accessory that wasn't properly working! Once a genuine Apple charger was plugged into the computer, it immediately started rapidly charging. My takeaway from this nightmare is to either purchase it new from BestBuy or purchase refurbished products from Apple so that you can add AppleCare. Save your gas and time and take any of your Apple products straight to an Apple store. I was also informed by Apple management today that the GeekSquad is very bad about sending customers to them when there is an issue that they should be able to take care of in-store.

Owned the M2 for 1 month and have horizontal and vertical lines flickering on the screen, making it impossible to use. I was just replacing a M1 MacBook that had the same display issue within months of buying. It was sent in for repair twice and it failed a third time right after the warranty expired. This was a new laptop! Apple did nothing for me. They refused to issue a new laptop to replace the lemon I bought and since the warranty expired they expected me to pay to have it fixed again!!! So stupidly I bought an M2 thinking the problems were with the M1 only. Nope! I have the exact same issue with the new model!!! Buyer beware... because Apple isn't owning up to the issues of the M Series MacBooks. I've spent almost $3,000 for 2 MacBook Airs that are now unusable junk! I've wasted so much time sending in for repairs, reloading apps and being without a computer while they try to fix their issues, which they can't. Unless they make this right I'll never trust Apple again! Good Luck to you if you buy one. As a long time Apple buyer I now recommend you don't.

Setting up the MacBook is foreign to me and I can't believe that I have to pay for help to setup the new computer when I am a TotalTech Member. Therefore the MacBook is still not setup. Very unhappy about spending more than $900.00 and it is still sitting on my desk.

This purchase of a MacBook Air was terrible. The computer is great, the Utica store and Best Buy corporate were very poor. No communication with me about the status of my pick up order. Then on my way there to find put what was going on with my order someone called from the corporate office asking for personal information and having a smart attitude when I asked why she wanted the information. My order was placed on hold until they could "verify" who I was. Then after the verification I had to wait another hour for them to bring my item from the warehouse. Everything was strange and really a hassle. I would not recommend Best Buy.

Now I know why MacBooks have 8% global laptop market share. No touch screen, no pen support, no OLED screen, no instant - on, no face unlock, no 2-in-1 design, no 180 degree screen, can't run 2 4k monitors at the same time. When you don't use Apple apps, the laptop is slow and the battery life is about 3-4 hours. Laptop overheats and theromothrottles. Using this laptop feeling like going back to the 20th century.

Do not buy another Mac or Apple lap top! I purchased the Laptop computer and the screen went black after 6 months and again the same problem 3 months later. Apple did not honor their 1 year warranty. and charged me after I paid nearly $4.000.00 for the lap top. Stating "there was no damage to the unit but it need repair on the inside". Rip off. Apple quality has declined since the Steve died.

Received Mac Book Air with older IOS I expected new computer to have current IOS. Also after much troubleshooting iPods still do not pair With Mac Book

Don’t order from Best Buy. They can’t deliver on time. I placed an order for next day delivery and the computer has not even been picked up by the carrier two days later. Go to Apple. Best BuY offers no solutions for delayed shipments.

Cannot rotate from desktop 1 to desktop 2. Once showed them at top of page, then not again. Once rotated a couple of times from 1 to 2 by itself. Cannot find a way to reset password for desktop 1.

This laptop does have comparatively better cpu, but the design is worse than previous version, no usb, th place on the keyboard to put mouse is not enough. The resolution is not a standard type, so in many games that need a mouse, you will have difficulty on click the place you want to click. By the way, these can be tolerated, but one thing can't be tolerated is this laptop use IPS screen, which cause eye strain, IPS screen doesn't cause all people eye strain, but for some people, all IPS screen cause eye strain, this laptop is one of them.
