This laptop is so easy to use. I bought myself one not too long ago and decided to purchase another for a college bound granddaughter. The size is perfect for schoolwork.

Very nice design. Powers up instantly and apps run very smoothly with the M2 chip. Side by side spec comparison with the Macbook Pro and this was the best alternative at a better price.

Great upgrade! Much faster than my existing model, and also much smaller and lighter. Went with space gray, because midnight shows too many fingerprints even though it looks cool in the pictures. Definitely worth it.

I needed an upgrade, this laptop does the job, its very good, it runs very smoothly and does exactly what I need it to do, along with some games I play.

I upgraded to the M2 Air from an Intel Macbook and was surprised at how much of an upgrade it was. For my work I do basic web development primarily working in VS Code. I can have multiple workspaces open, a browser with 20+ tabs open, and two Node.js servers running without any lag. I wouldn't use this laptop for gaming, but GeForce Now is a good option that works fine. I was considering splurging to get more ram, but 8GB has been more than enough for me. I would suggest planning ahead for storage, but you can always get a cheap external SSD.

This is my 5th consecutive MacBook and I won't use anything else. The ease of use, quality of components and ability to connect easily with my iPhone and iPad are worth the extra price. Plus, they do go on sale from time to time for a few hundred off. Buy it then and you'll get at least 5 years of good use from them. It's fast, the screen is great, the speakers are a significant upgrade and the keyboard is wonderful for lots of typing.
