Happy with my purchase

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the 2021 MacBook Pro that I had for a couple of years when I ended up spilling water on the keyboard. It was either this laptop or the MacBook M2 Pro but I bought the air as it fit all my needs, I think it is more bang for your buck, and that unless you’re doing heavy editing, the specs of the pro aren’t necessary (and it’s such a huge price jump). I also don’t like the keyboard on the Pro and the Air is the only newer model with the butterfly switches. I’ve been happy with the Air, and I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect for daily use

I wish they wouldn't be so stingy to this level on the specs, but the proof is in the pudding. Would love it if Apple would at least give us an awkward jump of base memory on new models. Like, if they can't go 16GB on the base model. Maybe they could at least go 10GB base model and 20GB on the up model and so on. I think this would also signal to the users that this is indeed a quite different animal than Windows laptops. I am particularly delighted that I got my Air M2 on sale.
