I actually "downgraded" from a 2018 MacBook Pro and this one is way WAY faster and better. Definitely recommended for users who aren't doing hardcore video editing or 3D rendering.

My son had a 2016 version of MacBook and was asking for this when it got released. This one has awesome battery life and some amazing screen quality. 4K actually feels and looks different on the laptop. Plus clarity is so good that I feel my reading glasses are no longer required.

Initially had problems with the screen going to sleep randomly but after a software update everything was fixed. My old laptop works extremely slow when trying to load multiple pages for doing school work but I have yet to have a single problem with this one.
