I can connect my iPad to the laptop through screen sharing and use my laptop for reading while using my iPad for note taking.

This works great for school, personal, and work. I have had Dell laptops, and even HP and I prefer the MacBook over all the others. I have had each of them for 10 years before needing to replace.

Lightweight and good value for cost

It’s “light” as they come and some more. We wanted a laptop for pure browsing, storing some documents and for watching content. Dint want a beast like the MacBook Pro which blows a hole in your pocket in “relative” terms. The M2 processor combined with the 8gb ram more than suffice for our myriad needs. As is the case with any brand, the cost increases with increased ssd storage. But it is better to use an online storage subscription anyways. In other words the MacBook Air m2 packs a punch if you are a above usual entry level user. Steer clear if you are into heavy duty gaming or a nerd who codes and runs memory intensive applications. Take away of buying this with Best Buy is with the Best Buy membership, you get a couple of years of apply warranty free.

It was bought by my parents, her parents and her two best friends (they all pitched in separately and I covered the rest). She uses it daily/nightly and uses it for planning our trips, playing Webkinz or watching YouTube.

Otherwise they drain pretty quickly. I mainly use the apple laptop for college, which has made my life easy when writing college essays.
