I love my new laptop! Best Buy was very helpful in finding and ordering my computer. The MacBook Air is so light and has the same or better features than my pro did.

Coming from Windows, exploring this machine and its inbuilt apps and realising their use cases has been a wonderful pleasure. iCloud is a mysterious delight, Dictation just works (even though I have Siri turned off due to privacy concerns), and Garageband has given me renewed energy to record/publish stuff. Everything works beautifully, and even at its most basic, everything just works. Cant recommend it enough. If I had to find one fault, it would be the notch camera jutting into the screen. A little annoying, but I guess thats a design choice they've made across their devices.

First disclaimer is that I'm a Systems Engineer, and I purchased this laptop to work on Asahi Linux, not the Apple macOS that originally came on the device. This review is specifically about the hardware, and not the software/Apple/Licensing! I regularly use this laptop as a Programmer to work on the go, and I also dedicated over half of my storage to run World of Warcraft at an average of 116FPS at Graphics 7. I haven't run official benchmarks, but I have noticed that my daily use on this device has way better battery efficiency than other laptops I've tried putting through the same tasks for work/personal use.

Excellent experience buying a Mac book, will be back for all electronic purchases!

It’s a great computer but I would get the MacBook Pro

The computer works great. My last three laptops have been macs and the design and use of it always feels great and seamless. My one downside is that I though the color would be more gold. In almost all lightings the computer looks silver. I miss the last versions gold coloring. :(

The MacBook Air works very well and because of the longer battery life is perfect for use in the field where I am not often near a power source.
