Many appreciate its ease of use and sleek aesthetics, finding it perfect for various tasks and lifestyles. I use it for work at a physical therapist doing web-based documentation and it’s perfect. Lightweight so easy to take in my backpack to the clinic and battery lasts forever. Mostly used for web browsing and documentation like I said, but I use it pretty consistently for 9-10 hours at a time and can go 3-4 days without charging it (after purchasing it about 1 month ago)

One of the best buys of the year. So quiet, fast and easy to move around (lite). Great screen, sound and ease of use. I am a HUGE Apple fan but this one would have me come to the Apple side for sure.

I upgraded from a ten year old MacBook Pro, which still works fine but was running out of hard drive space. This laptop is light, fast, thin, the battery lasts forever, it’s quiet and never gets warm. Loving it so far.

    Fingerprints? Amazing device!

Absolutely love the sleek design and color from Apple. I heard that the midnight color is prone to fingerprints and that is true but easily wipe is with soft fabric and it’s back to pristine conditions. The system is fast, bold colors and vibrant screen. Using it for basic needs are easily handled with this processor. I have started using it more and more for my photo editing as I’m picking back up in that aspect of life and have not found any faults with software applications or true color definition. If you can pick this up, I think it’s a great financial investment and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Again, the midnight does have more issues with fingerprints but to me it’s not anything that truly affects the device itself, going to be personal preference though.

    Windows to Mac Transition

Very happy with this purchase. I was hesitant to switch from Windows to Mac even though I've been an Apple user for years (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch). So happy I switched and regret not switching sooner. I will say it does take a bit to fully transition from Windows to Mac but after about a week or so, I was very comfortable with what I was doing. Purchased just shy of a month ago and while I am still learning things here and there, I feel I am able to use the Mac just as efficiently as I was able to use my previously laptops. Battery life far exceeds any laptops I've used previously. Love that when I'm working, I basically have a hub at my fingertips connected with my phone.

This MacBook Air rocks! Lighter, more battery life, and an amazing display are a significant upgrade from the previous version. Processing speed of the M2 is heat as well. Highly recommend!

For my use case, this MacBook was a no brainer. I understand the whole thermal issue with the MacBook Air line, however it has not been a problem for me. I am an adult college student, as well as an amateur content creator. This laptop has not ever been hotter than the acer I owned. I haven’t pushed it too far, but I, like most people, won’t. This MacBook is my travel computer as well, and the weight alone makes it so easy. The battery life is great. I also want to mention the longevity of the battery when not in use. In rest mode with it closed, it can last for days with minimal battery drain, which is an issue on most windows laptops. Also, this being my first Mac OS product, I did not realize what I was missing!

Great laptop. Although it has low ram and low storage, it still works with my normal uses for college. Able to run programming but can see some lag when using large datasets.

Awesome Computer But M1 Still a Viable Option

I have an M1 Air for work and needed a personal laptop. I originally purchased the 256gb M1 Air but realized I preferred to have 512gb of storage (which they no longer sell in the M1 Model) so I ended up going for the M2 and I'm glad I did. Pros: I really like the new flatter shape as it is less sharp in my hands (I have accidentally skinned my knuckle on the edge of an M1 Air). I also really appreciate the extra screen real estate. It doesn't seem like much, but the screen feels much more spacious than the M1 Air in a (slightly) lighter package. Cons: Compactness: Compared to the M2, the M1 air actually feels more compact (which it is) and more "dense" which isn't necessarily a con and also more of a personal prefrence than a con. Trackpad: Another minor niggle but the trackpad click on the M1 air feels more solid compared to the M2 which sounds more hollow. Definitely a personal preference but something I noticed in comparison. It's probably due to there being a hollow space under the trackpad in the M2 versus the M1 which I believe has a battery cell underneath it. Conclusion: If you are only looking at the base model 256gb model I would honestly recommend picking up the 256gb M1 Air (especially if it's on sale) as the memory is faster and you really don't give up much in the way of performance between the M1 and M2 Chip. However, if you have a large Apple Photos collection I'd recommend upgrading to the 512gb M2 Air. It's an awesome computer and you won't regret it!

I've used Windows-based PCs my entire personal and professional life, and had no intention of EVER going to the Dark Side. I picked this up so I could learn the ins and outs of MacOS to help out my niece and nephews if they had problems at school, and I must say, it's worth every penny! It took me about 2 days to get familiar enough with everything for this to replace my windows laptop as my personal daily driver. The battery life is great, and it has enough horsepower to handle 99% of my needs.
