    I have a refurbished MacBook Pro. It is about ten years old. I am amazed at how light this laptop is, how quickly it powers up, and I know it will be more than capable of handling anything I need to do.

    This turns out to be exactly what I needed to run a website and keep my graphics-heavy side work. I wish it was a larger screen, but this was in my budget and those were not. Be warned: You'll have to buy connectors for everything you want to hook to it - additional monitor, mouse, whatever. So add those to your base price budget.

    It should be a given if you just need a laptop for school work and movies/shows go with Apple but if you want it for gaming I would look for something else unless you only intend to play Roblox or Minecraft
