This is a Christmas gift, so unable to truly provide a thorough review. Based on what we saw and the specifications and knowledge about Apple this is certainly an excellent laptop. It is a good build and quality appearance. Ratings based on thorough search and expert reviews of this laptop. As with anything Apple it is on the expensive side, however Apple laptops last a lot longer than Windows laptops.

upgrading from an older 2019 i7 model, this one works great. blows the old machine out of the water.

It was surprising how quickly I was able to return the purchase of an Apple MacBook M2 and upgrade it to an Apple MacBook M3 model. I'm sure this laptop is high tech, and will be preferred by plenty. Personally, I do not like it. I miss my cheap basic laptop, where I understand how to navigate the apps and tabs and windows. I also prefer Microsoft Word which I can't get on Apple apparently. I bought this laptop for college classes and as a new student, I was more frustrated trying to learn the ins and outs of a new computer than I was learning the material I needed to for each course. If you're smarter than I am and enjoy learning new technology, you may end up liking it.

Laptop is light and small. The M2 chip really shows it’s true power as it is smooth and really responsive

This is my first Macbook and it is everything i was expecting and more. It is super easy to set up and connects with all of my Apple devices.

Excellent experience purchasing at Best Buy, and a great price as well. As computers get new chips and better graphics, it becomes nearly impossible for most of us to discern a difference or to take best advantage of additional processing power. If my 8 year old laptop was not failing, I would still be using it. the marketing hype for each new generation of computers is quite remarkable, even it the process of using the computer is little changed from prior generations.
