The product is amazing, I love my macbook air. However, I selected the best buy financing on my best buy card and i don’t think that went through. Furthermore the price dropped another 50-100$ a week after I bought it. But other than that, picking up the product and receiving it was seamless.

These new MacBook Air's are sleek and premium as are most Apple products. However, it turns out that the M2 MacBook Air has quite a few drawbacks. The 'Base Model' is virtually worthless (8GB Ram, 256GB SSD). So I got the 16GB model for some breathing room with the ever bloating horsepower hungry MacOS. But that wasn't enough. The 256GB SSD in it was a total fail for the M2 series. As it turns out, the base 256GB SSD's on the M2 MacBook Air uses only one (1) NAND Chip (instead of two) which slows the read and right speed by half. Models that use two (2) NAND Chips even on 256GB Models (like the M1 series) literally run twice as fast. My advice is to just skip the m2 MacBook Air if you're looking at a base model. Otherwise, get at least a 512GB SSD (uses two NAND Chips), and 16GB Ram. Sadly, for the price you're going to pay for an M2 or even an M3 MacBook Air with those specs, you're paying as much or more than an M4 MacBook Air base model. To the point, I returned this and purchased the m4 MacBook Air. It just made more sense. Look at the attached comparison pics between the M2 and M4 Base models.
