As of November 2025 this is the best laptop for the money by far. All the M series Apple Silicon computers are fast and energy efficient. Spring for the AppleCare+ as no Mac repair is cheap and AppleCare+ includes accidental damage coverage.

I did my research, weighed my options, and still came back to Best Buy because the value simply couldn’t be beat. The product quality exceeded expectations, the deal felt intentional (not gimmicky), and everything arrived exactly as promised. This was one of those rare purchases where you don’t second-guess yourself afterward you just sit back and say, yeah… I chose right. If you’re on the fence, let this be your sign. This laptop is perfect for someone who is always on the go. Really great to bring to school, cafes, libraries, etc. Battery life last really long and you won’t find yourself needing the electrical outlet too often. Audio is not that great but this laptop is powerful enough to do pretty much everything that you need to do everyday.
