My only complaint is that the display brightness has a default setting which is not bright enough for me and I have to almost brighten the display to the maximum to be comfortable.

It was an upgrade from her 2015 MacBook Air. No doubt the speed this new version is much faster and can quickly help her get stuff done. However, the memory when synced with mobile device gets taken up quickly.

It has so many great features. I had a few problems learning how to use it. I’m old school when it comes to computers. The Geek Squad took their time and taught me what I needed to know.

Great entry-level Max!

It is a great entry into the apple ecosystem, for a great price! MacOS is really smooth, battery life is great, and the screen is high rez and super clear. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't support more than one external monitor which is only supported by the Pro or Max processors.
