It does the job for her school work. She says, quality and sound is good. The only thing is that the charger is a magnet, so if moved it disconnects.

Obviously a MacBook Pro is more convenient having a variety of ports and SD card reader but if you already have a USB-C or Thunderbolt dock you can save some money with the MacBook Air.
