Productivity and apps are seamless, even with this being a 2022 model MacBook air, it performs flawlessly and even runs the latest apple intelligence which isn't all that special but still worth noting considering apple ai released this year and is working perfectly on an older model.

He loves this macbook and will be able to complete college coursework. Next we look yo but an upad to assist him with notes in college since it will work along side his macbook! The staff was amazing and so knowledgeable!! He will continue to shop at best buy for all of our electronic needs!! And we have plenty!!

A Mac for the Holiday

The whole experience in the store was excellent. Although there were none in the local store or warehouse, I received this in plenty of time for Christmas. My grandson is learning the ropes with the MacBook as he has never used a Mac before but he seems pleased and is looking forward to using this for the last semester of high school and college next year.

However, parental control options don’t seem tight enough. Some apps like Apple TV are built into the OS, so you cannot remove them, which is not ideal for a kid’s machine. Overall the hardware feels excellent, but jury is still out on software features. Parents be sure to research the parental controls on macOS - they seem tighter on iPadOS.
